[ the screen shows a completely white background with lyner sitting on a stool at the side. although his back is to the camera, it is clear that he's playing a guitar along to the song. the screen then fades completely to white, transitioning into the rest of the video. ]
everything you do, it sends me
higher than the moon with every
[ the wholesome squad is shown to be hanging out at the merlins' café. as jolie talks to nyx, lyner is seen watching her from afar. ]
twinkle in your eye
you strike a match that lights my heart on fire
[ jolie smiles, and when she does, lyner flushes and quickly rushes into the back to get the next order from evelyn, who then watches him go with an unimpressed, yet knowing look. ]
when you're near, i hide my blushing face
and trip on my shoelaces
[ lyner passes by jolie's table to give the next customer their order. when he does, though, jolie takes notice of him and excitedly calls out his name with a wave. unknowingly to her, this action had made lyner's entire face light up with embarrassment, a moment which then led to lyner tripping on his own shoelaces before falling to the floor. his face gets even redder as most laugh, with jolie looking on in both concern and mild amusement. ]
grace just isn't my forté
but it brings me to my knees when you say
[ lyner, still in an embarrassed flush, slowly begins to rise from the floor when he suddenly sees a hand held out in front of his face. curiously, he looks up, only to freeze when he sees jolie kneeling down in front of him and offering him her hand with a smile. ]
"hello, how are you, my darling, today?"
[ lyner ends up slipping on the drink he had spilled all over the floor and falling back down again, this time face-first. once again, everyone laughs, and jolie can only look down at the man in surprise. ]
