It had been a week since eddie moved back in with Jeff. Ava couldn't help but feel like he was ignoring her. They hadn't talked since he left, there had been band practice at her and stones apartment a few time but whenever she tried to talk to eddie he would always reply in short answers. Ava thought about it for a long time wondering what she did wrong. She understood that they weren't together but it still hurt that he was avoiding her.
Ava walked to the living room to find Stone sitting watching TV.
"Hey Stone can I ask you something?"
"Of course"
"Why is eddie ignoring me"
Stones fave when red and he looked at the ground
"Um I don't know.."
"If you don't know anything why are you nervous?" She asked suspiciously
"Um" is all Stone let out
"Fine if you won't tell me I'll just ask him" Ava said running to the door
"No Av-" He started
But it was no use she was already outside the door.
Ava stopped in her tracks when she saw eddie walking towards the apartment too but he had his arm around a girl. She had brown hair and blue eyes. Eddie looked up to see Ava standing there. He looked like he had seen a ghost.
"Uh hey Ava" he said quietly
"Hi" she replied with her eyes glued to the floor trying to hide her disappointment
"Oh your the famous Ava I've been hearing about" the girl spoke up
Ava looked up at the girl to see a smirk on her face.
"Mhm thats me"
"I'm Beth"
Ava felt like she had been stabed. Beth? As in the girl who used to abuse eddie? Why was she here? He said that he left her behind
"B-beth?"
The girl infront of her nodded
"Oh um that's a nice name I've uh gotta go bye" she said walking past them
"Bye Ava" Beth said with that grin still on her face
Ava walked out of her apartment with no destination in mind. She had tears in her eyes, not just because she liked eddie but because she didn't want him to be abused again.
She sat down on a bus bench and just cried for a few minutes
"Ava?"
She looked up to see Chris's concerned face. She quickly wiped her tears and smiled back at him. Chris sat down beside her
"Hey chris" she said her voice cracking
"What's wrong" he asked
"Oh nothing im just not having a good day" she replied
Chris didn't believe her not one bit, but he decided that she obviously didn't want to talk about it right now so he just nodded his head and wrapped his arms around her.
She cried into his chest.
"Hey how about you and me go get some diner?" Chris asked pulling away to see her face
"But I look like shit" she laughed
"First of all you look beautiful. Plus we don't need to go somewhere fancy we can go get pizza or we can got to your apartment and order a delivery." He replied
"Thank you Chris I'd really like that" she smiled at him
They got up and walked back to her apartment hand in hand.
When they got in Chris told Ava to go relax and he would order some food in. Ava really appreciated Chris she didn't even have to tell him what was wrong he just comforted her.
A knock came at the door and Ava called for whoever it was to come in.
It was Chris. He sat beside her on her bed.
"So the guys wanted me to order food for them too an-"
"Who exactly?" She interrupted him
"Uh stone Jeff and eddie. So uh when it comes do you want to eat out there with them or will I just come in here with you"
"Hmm if you don't mind I'd like to eat in here just with you" She smiled at him
"Perfect"
Ava looked at him and her eyes started to tear up again. Chris wrapped his arms around her once again and whispered things like
' it's ok' and "I'm here" into her ear.
She hugged him back and started to cry softly.
"Thank you Chris" she whispered
"It's ok Ava I'm always here"
They stayed there like that for about 30 minutes until the heard Stone call them.
"I'll go get it" Chris said getting up
"Thank you chris" ava sighed
Chris walked out to the kitchen and saw eddie with a girl sitting on his lap.he was so confused weren't Him and Ava kissing in the bar? Chris then realised why she was so upset.
He went and out to kitchen and put some food on two plates. He was about to turn back to go to Avas room when a voice came from behind him.
"Where is Ava" Eddie asked
"In her room" Chris replied dryly
"Why doesn't she come out and eat with us" Eddie asked
"I think you know why Ed" Chris said eyeing the woman sitting on the couch
Before eddie could reply Chris stormed off to Avas room
"Hey I'm back" he said entering her room
"Hey thanks for that didn't you want to listen to records while we eat?"
"Sure you can pick!" Chris replied
Ava got up and walked over and put on a record.
Whole lotta love by led zeppelin started to play.
"Good choice!" Chris exclaimed
Ava nodded as she sat down, Chris handed her the plate of food.
After eating for a few minutes Chris noticed that Ava wasn't eating much. He placed a hand on her leg. She peered up at him.
"Are you ok?" He asked
"Is she out there?" Ava asked her voice breaking
"Yes she is and I'm confused why she is here doesn't eddie like you?"
"That's what I thought too but he started ignoring me, I saw them together this morning and I was just tired and confused so that's why I was crying" she said staring at her plate
"That's a bit of a dickhead move do you want me to beat him up?"
Ava laughed
"No Chris it's ok I don't really blame him he can't control his feelings and she is gorgeous"
"Ava is she is gorgeous then you are absolutely extravagant eddieis being a dickhead" Chris said waving his hand dramatically
"Chris you know what? Your right fuck him!"
Chris smiled widely and leaned in to hug her
The rest of their day was spent listening to records and cuddling.
Only innocently cuddling but Chris couldn't help but feel more
