Ava was in the middle of crying when she heard a knock at the door.
She ran to the door and swung it open. As soon as eddie saw her he could tell that she had been crying, he opened his arms to her and she quickly fell into his embrace. It felt so good to have her back in his arms.
"It's going to be OK I'm here" Eddie whispered
"I'm sorry eddie" Ava cried loudly
"For what"
"For not understanding the Beth thing"
"It's ok I should have told you when she arrived"
"Eddie I really want us to start again as friends just like it was and maybe later something else.."
Eddie hugged her tightly once more.
"So do you wanna watch a movie or something...?"Eddie asked not really knowing what to do
"Uh this might sound weird but could you maybe just stay with me in the bed and lie there for a while with me?"
"Um sure" Eddie said getting nervous
They walked into the bedroom and layed down in the bed. For a while the were just lying there beside eachother not even touching. That was until Ava moved closer to him and rested her head on his chest wrapped an arm around his waist.
She could feel Eddie's breath hitch, and was confused why he was nervous.
Eddie was nervous because as everyone knows he can't resist his temptations when he's with someone he likes. He obviously still had feelings for her. Eddie didn't know if he could get through this without kissing her.
But he couldn't, Chris had litterally just left.
Eddie was brought back to reality when he felt Ava trying to get off. Eddie just kept his arms around her. He didn't want her to get off of him.
This made Ava look up at him. He just gave her a shy smile. Ava rested back down onto him.⁹
Eddie's head was telling him to not go any further but his heart was screaming 'pull her closer'. He knew it was wrong but he grabbed her hips and positioned her so she was laying on top of him with her head on his chest.
Ava heart sped up she didn't know how to react. Did Eddie know what he was doing to her? Or was he just being a good friend?
She looked up to find him already staring at her. Eddie leaned down and kissed her head.Ava just smiled and layed back down wrapping her arms back around him.
He was relieved she didn't take it the wrong way.
After a few minutes eddie felt Avas body relax and her breathing getting heavier.
Soon he couldn't keep his eyes open, so he drifted off.

Ava woke up to the sound of Eddie singing lightly . she got out of bed and walked towards the bed.
"Sheets of empty canvas untouched sheets of clay were layed spread out before me as her body once did" Eddie sang still not noticing Ava
"Eddie that's beautiful" Ava whispered
Making Eddie jump in surprise
"T-thanks"
"So who's the lucky girl you wrote that about?" She asked
"Uh you want the truth?"
"Mhm"
"It's uh...its about you" Eddie whispered not looking in her eyes
Ava Brought her hand to her mouth looking at him with tears in her eyes.
"Eddie I-"
"You don't have to talk about it right now..let's wait for a while"
"You took the words out of my mouth" Ava laughed
"What time is it" She asked
"I about 5 o'clock" he answered
"Wanna go out get some pizza or something?"
"Sure let's go"

"So uh what do you want for Christmas" Eddie asked taking a bite of his pizza
"I don't want anything Eddie"
"Okay.." he said smirking
"Eddie if you get me anything I'll kill you" Ava laughed
"Fine.." Eddie said still smirking
"This pizza is delicious"
"It was 6 dollars nothing fancy" Eddie laughed
"Shut up"
"OK.. are you ready to go?" Ed asked
"Sure"
They got up to leave but someone called them back before they could
"You can't leave yet" an elderly woman said standing out from behind the counter
"Uh ye already paid miss" Eddie replied politely
The woman didn't say anything she just pointed to the space above them
Mistletoe.
"You can't leave without kissing it's bad luck and I don't want bad luck in my restaurant" she sighed trying to hide her smile
"Uh ok"
Ava reached up and gave Eddie a little peck
Eddie smiled back at her.
"Come on that wasn't a kiss give the poor boy something a blind man could see that he's crazy about you" She laughed
Ava looked back to eddie
"We can just go It's o-"
Ava cut him off by pulling his face down to meet hers. Eddie quick reciprocated to the kiss wrapping his arms around her waist. He bit her lip asking her to open her mouth. She happily opened her mouth and let his tounge flow in, massaging hers with his. After a few seconds they pulled away. They both just looked at eachother in shock.
"Now you kids have a good night" the women smiled pleased with herself
"G-goodnight" Ava said still in shock
Eddie smiled at how flustered she was.
"Do you wanna come to my apartment for a change?" Eddie asked holding the door open for her.
"I uh don't really.."
"I won't touch you I swear scouts honour" Eddie replied making had gestured
"Okay" Ava said relaxing a bit
"Hey uh me and the guys have a show on Christmas eve do you wanna come?"
"That's great of course I'll be there"
They got to Eddie's truck and started to drive to his apartment.
"What are ya thinking about" Eddie asking noticing that Ava was in a world of her own
"What to get you for Christmas"
"Hey! If I'm not aloud to get you something your not aloud to get something for me"
"Do what you want eddie but I'm getting you something"
"Fine" eddie said rolling his eyes dramatically
"Yuo know Ed I thought this was gonna be weird but it's just how it used to be" Ava smiled
"Hehe come here" Eddie said opening his arms
Ava slid across the bench of the van and cuddled up to him
