Ava was currently sorting through vinyls at work. She was really angry about a phone call from her mother earlier.
Flashback
"Hey mom uh what's up" she asked
"I hear you have a boyfriend"
"Who told yo-"
"I also hear that he's a musician. You know how me and your father feel about musicians. Is he a junkie. Does he do drugs. Anyways break it off I forbid you from seeing him again."
"Mom I'm over 18 you can't forbid me to do anything. It's my life. And you know what I fucking love Chris he has saved me in so many ways. So go fuck yourself and tell dad too aswell" she hung up before her mother could answer. She tried not to cry because she was in work but it was clear that she was upset
End of Flashback
The bell rang indicating someone had walked in. Ava put on a fake smile ready to great the costumer.
"Chris what are you doing here?" She said hugging him
"Your boss called said you were upset and that he wanted me to pick you up. Also I'm ready to kiss the ass of whoever upset my baby"
"Chris your so cute when your angry, but no it's my mom she doesn't want us to be together...because you are a musician and she doesn't think that's a real job, but I love you and I obviously love my mom...I just don't want her to hate me" Ava cried into Chris's chest
"Don't worry baby she will understand over time. Now let's go home" kiss sighed kissing her head
"Chris?"
"Yeah"
"I'm so proud of you for making friends with eddie"
"He's actually a nice guy I think we should all be friends"
"Definitely"
They got into Chris's car and drove to his apartment.
"OK well you know the way we said we should be closer friends with eddie" Chris asked
"Um before your boss called me, eddie called asking if I wanted to jam for a while so I invited him over. Is that okay?"
"Of course!"
"He's already inside"
"Perfect"
They walked to Chris's apartment and went inside
"Hey eddie we are home"
"Hey guys I was just working on something can you tell me if its too strong?"
"Sure" Ava replied
"I know some day you'll have a beautiful life I know you'll be a star in somebody else's sky but why can't it be mine" the whole time eddie stared into her eyes
"That was fucking awesome ed" Chris exclaimed
" thanks um what's that big thing you want to tell us Chris?"
"OK um let's all sit down"
"OK..." Ava said nervously
"I'm just gonna say it.. I'm going on tour for two years with the band and I can't ask you to wait for me like that Ave so you too have my full consent to be with eachother...as much as it hurts Ava I just want you to be happy"
"Y-your leaving" Ava whispered holding back tears
Chris just nodded
"I....can't...when do you leave?"
"Next week" Chris sighed
"And you want me and eddie to be together?"
"Well obviously you can find your own person but I think I'd your going to try...dating you should give him another chance even if eddie wants to move in just please promise me you'll stay close. I know the things that happened hurt Ave but eddie explained to me and honestly I understand"
Ava looked over to eddie but he was staring at the ground not knowing what to say.
"Uhm eddie what do you...think about this"
"I'm in if you are we can just go back to the start we don't even have to be together I want another chance at us"
"OK but Chris I can't just fall out of love with you" Ava laughed
"We will spend this last week together and I'll help it not hurt as much. I'm sorry I'm leaving but it's an amazing opportunity for the band"
"I understand Chris I'm just gonna miss you" She said looking him in the eye
"I'll miss you too but let's not think about that right now..hmmm....movies?" Chris askew
"Yess eddie are you coming?"
"I don't know you guys probably want to be alone...." he trailed off
"Eddie come on you and me gotta start spending time with eachother" she smiled at him.
"You know what I will go"
"Great" chris said patting eddie on the back

It was Chris's last day with Ava, they spent it alone in Chris's apartment listening to records,eating takeout, making out and cuddling.
"When do you have to leave" Ava asked Chris
"Uh tonight but I will wait for you to fall asleep and then I'll leave just so its not a really painful goodbye"
"That's a good idea"
A few hours later it was time for Ava to sleep
"Goodnight Chris" Ava said holding back tears
"Goodnight Ave I'll see you again"
Chris held Ava as she cried until he felt her fall asleep.
He got out the bed without waking her and walked to the front door. When he reached for the handle he realised he couldn't leave without one last kiss so he ran to Ava in the bed and pressed a long kiss onto her forehead. Chris pulled himself together and left.

Ava woke up feeling cold. The space beside her was empty. She felt empty. She just wanted someone to hold her (in an innocent way).
Ava reached over to the bedside table and grabbed the phone dialing the number she needed
"Hello?" came a sleepy voice from the other line
"Eddie?" She replied her voice shaking
"Yeah it's me whats up?" He asked in a sweet voice
"I uhm...I needed to come over and just comfort me for a while. Oh god I sound so patheti-"
"Ava you are not pathetic I'll be There in 25 minutes or so. OK?"
"Thank you eddie"
"No problem see you then"
