You know who this is about already
You know who you are and who you've always been
Refuse to speak to me about it all
I hope this is the last poem I make about you

Songs and sweet words stand between us
I don't wish for us to have never met
Feelings are so complicated daily
I hope this is my last love letter to you

Moving on and moving forward
My goal is to forget about it all
Do you want to forget and go on?
Or do you want to keep it going for yourself?

Learnt so much from you everytime
I don't need a fourth time with you now
I learnt all I needed from these three times
We just want to let go forever

Perfect for someone else, toxic for me
Considered your offers so much, love
But when the morning comes around
I realise I will never have you.

I'm happy to say I'm letting go
This is my goodbye letter to everything
It'll take a while to get used to it
But your name will be away from us

Friends ask and talk about you
But only the actual ones know what I need
And the thing I need is an actual hug
Next time we meet, I hope you block it

You can't understand my own verses
That's the whole point of writing about you
I'll make sure I'm confusing enough for you
Forget my words and own names now

Deleting memories and short talks
I don't regret everything we've done
You will be reading this enough
But he will forget about it soon enough

Plays and little emojis to each other
Focusing back on moving forward
Friends till the end and enemies with a knife
They will all accept it in the end
