The Leviathan Crew

Chapter One the start of it all

On the night of May 26 9405, a set of demon parents gave birth to their long-expected child. The child looked a tawny brown with a tuft of curly black hair on top of his head and two horns protruding from his forehead. He had tiny wings that would grow as he aged. He was delivered in a shoddy cheap apartment because the Hospital refused to have a demon child born in their hospital. The parents laid him down in his crib they had built a week earlier and watched him as he fell asleep.

Cut to the present day

Nicholas was running to school. He looked like every other normal student he could pass as a human if it wasn't for his huge wings or the pointed tail or the set of horns on his head. He kept the horns hidden with a beanie and his wings folded under his hoodie and his tail tucked into his pants and he wore contacts so that his normally Black and Purple eyes looked a sharp brown. He stepped into his first-class two minutes late.

"You're late for the last day, Nicholas," said the teacher at the front of the room. "I overslept but at least I'm here" responded Nick "take a seat" Nick sat down next to one of his friends ,a Kaze Kitsune named Nathan, who didn't get magic but got danger sense instead and still had minor manipulation of the wind but were he shone was the school's MMA team When Nick sat down a paper appeared before him on the desk.

"This is your end of year review. It'll just ask somethings about you and how you've grown please put your name and magic type up top".

Nick started

Name:Nicholas

Magic Type: Shadow.

What did you enjoy about this year: Pretty much nothing.

What did you learn this year: I already knew most of this.

What do you want to learn going forward: Everything.

It was then followed by some basic Math and English questions Nick did fine in English but struggled with the math he finished just as the bell rang for lunch Nick grabbed his bag and walked with Nathan down to the cafeteria. where they met up with their other friend Fushia who was a half-dragon human. Nick pulled out his lunch while Nathan ate his chicken salad sandwich while Fushia ate a tuna sandwich once they were done they all split up for their next class it was Math so Nick just dazed out the window thinking of his first day in a school.

Cut to Kindergarten.

Nick was wearing a baseball cap and still had his wings hidden by a hoodie his parent said to only take them off when he was at home Nick walked into the classroom gripping his mother's hand tight she looked down at him and said "it's fine you'll be learning a lot here" Nick liked learning so he let go and sat at the desk with his name it was between two people one was a girl who looked human on the other side was another kid who had blue tails coming out of his back Nick shook their hands and introduced himself

"I'm Nicholas"

"I'm Nathan"

"I'm Fushia"

That same day they all sat together and ate lunch. It was now that Nick learned of them both being nonhuman but his dad had told him to never reveal he was a demon if he wanted to make friends.

Cut to 8th grade

As they grew up they stuck together and one day in the 8th grade Nathan was getting jumped by a bunch of 10th graders Nick jumped in front of the next punch and blocked it suddenly Nick was picked up by his shirt he looked behind him and saw it was a scorpion human using its tail Nick did a spin and ripped a bit of his shirt and suddenly his hand was cloaked in a shadowy mist he thrust it forwards and a black tendril shot out and spilled and slammed them all into the wall Nick looked over at Nathan who's eyes had started glowing and he was dodging all of the attacks the other guy was throwing Nick shot out another tendril and grabbed him too. just then Fushia walked into the classroom saw the scene and turned around and walked out "why'd your eyes glow'' Nick asked Nathan ''oh wow you create flipping black tentacles and you ask why my eyes were glowing" responded Nathan "true you know what we need to do" "nooo" "we need to" "noooo" "go to the" "no no no" "Library" "NOOOO" as Nick dragged Nathan to the library he researched magic types while Nathan read Manga it turns that Nicks newfound magic was one of two magic's of balance he had shadow magic after they were done Nick checked out the book of past shadow magic users and dragged Nathan to the school's magic training ground "Name and Magic type" "Nicholas and Shadow" "O-Okay right this way" he then stopped Nathan ''Name and Magic type" "Nathan and Trait of Dangersense" "go right on ahead" once they were both in Nick set up some dummy's and looked through the book "it says the tendril thing was used by the first shadow user" Nick opened his palm and four tendril rose up and grabbed the dummy's and smashed them together Nick then used them to grab the book "it says the second user could travel through the shadows'' Nick had Nathan turn off the lights Nick tried thinking about where he wanted to go he then tried thinking of a portal neither idea worked "I'll come back to that" he read about how a lot of users perfected their own thing and wrote in this book "so I'm the 12th user of shadow magic neat" Nick shot a barrage of shadow pellets at Nathan who activated Dangersense and effortlessly dodged them all when they walked out they were stopped by a group of people with microphones and cameras all flashing Nathan pushed them aside as the asked questions
