Chapter 12 Merry Christmas and Welcome to the Underworld

December had been started and Nick was seen with his black jacket while Nathan could be seen with nothing more than a t shirt the ship wouldn't get covered with snow thanks to the magic barrier but that didn't stop the wind from freezing them half to death But soon all was well when Nick managed to get a central heating system up and running the all had a meeting in the meeting room "this room needs a cooler name we discuss very important things in here" said Nathan "not important right now what important is that this central heating isn't doing bullshit" said James his eyes the blueish gray when he was swapped when he swapped back they turned back to brown "yeah the heat issue we need to assess it right now I just have Jason sitting down there constantly keeping himself on fire to warm the ship with what we have" "if only Nick could somehow make vent on the ship to heat up the entire ship at once "yeah for that we'll need to dock and tell me this who's gonna let us dock we are literally public enemy number 1" "Nick remember the first good thing we did" said Nathan "save Jason "yeah and Dread said that those airways led to a pirate haven of sorts where the Emperors can't touch us" "and what if the decide they want our bounty" "most Pirates know not to trust the Emperors but some of the other might try but we can handle most things" "fine it's decided we will go to this pirate haven so I can install an actual heating system and get fuel" "I thought it ran on sunlight magic and bullshit" "who said it was for the ship I need me some highly sugary and caffeinated beverages" "also I new name for this room The Planning Room" said Jason "it's better but I'll keep thinking" said Nathan Nick went and set a course for The pirate haven and opened full sail to zoom there they made it there in about 4 hours it was the skeleton of a giant creature with building hanging from the ribcage and along the spine it had docks between the ribs so Nick docked the ship and everyone got off and split up

Nick went to the machine shop and got a heat-type magic stone and some heat-resistant metals and took them back up to the ship and got to work.

Kayla and Nathan went to a colosseum that was advertising a team tournament they walked in and found that they were very small compared to some of the other competitors then Nathan saw the prize he looked at Kayla "we gotta win that prize" "I know".

Fushia and James went to a local store to top up on supplies including food drink and various other items suddenly James swapped but seemed not to have a reason to snap so he swapped back peacefully and continued grabbing boxes of apples and oranges they went and checked out before eating their way back carrying the boxes they had just bought.

Jason and April had fused and where now competing in a shooting competition quickly out playing all of the competition and winning 7k units before the went on a shopping spree "so what do you think I look better in red or white" "definitely white" "what are you two young'uns doing in a place light this" and faster than anyone could react Jason had a gun to the man's head and April had a rapier to another man's throat "please leave us in peace" "of course" and they went back to shopping.

Back on the ship Nick found that the ship already had a vent system just no fire type magic stone so when he placed his new stone the entire ships temperature rose and everything started getting hotter

Nathan and Kayla where in the third round of the tournament they were in against two giants Nathan created a small Tornado that launched Kayla upwards who then smacked one of them with a purple fireball which instead of just burning him also corroded his face partially causing his the squirm on the ground writhing in pain "ready" asked Nathan "yep" she responded "Combo Magic Corrupted Gale" she threw a fireball towards Nathan who dispersed it and scattered it into the wind the other giant accidentally inhaled it and fell instantly dead and by this time the other had died "Traitmast Nathan and Nekomata Kayla have taken the win again but will the beneath their next opponent the reigning champions and their final opponent
