They all entered the house after breaking the glass and unlocking it from the inside, Lucas approached a lamp trying to turn it on
"Looks like someone forgot to pay their electric bill" Lucas said making Dustin turn on his torch
"Where'd everyone get those?" Steve asked
"Do you need to be told everything? You're not a child" Dustin spoke
"More like a bird brain" Anna handed the guy a spare torch she carried, for him obviously
They all split up Robin and Nancy, Steve and Dustin, Max and Lucas, as Anna was left alone
"Hey guys you all see that right?" Max pointed at a grandfather clock, they all told her they do see it
"You saw this? In the school hallway?" Anna asked making Max nod
"I mean it's just a clock" Robin said from behind them "Right?" Robin stepped forward as she cleaned the glass with her bare hand "Like a normal old clock"
"Why is this wizard obsessed with clocks?" Steve spoke up as everyone looked at him "Maybe he's like, a clockmaker or something?" Anna sighed
"You finnally cracked the case bird brain" Anna walked away
"All I can estimate is, the answers are right here" Nancy said looking at Anna who nodded in response "Somewhere"
"Ok everyone stay in groups and scream as loud as you can if anything goes south, that goes to you too, curly head" Anna spoke to Nancy, who smiled at the nickname, going upstairs as everyone split up staying as pairs
Anna investigated a room upstairs looking around at random things, until she felt a light directly into her eyes
"Hi there" The person said
"Hello" Anna replied smiling a little as she saw who it was "Anything interesting?" She asked
"Not yet, except those two" Anna looked at where Robin was pointing and saw Steve and Nancy
"They sure are interesting"
"Yeah I know right" As they were walking through the room together, their knuckles brushed against the other's but none of them pulled away
Anna felt something metalic on her hand which was touching Robin's, she looked down only find Robin wearing a bracelet Anna gifted
"You still wearing that?" Anna pointed at the accessory with her her flashlight, Robin took a moment before replying
"Yeah, couldn't take it off" Right at that moment Anna who was looking down in an attempt to hide her smile, was reminded of the moment she gave the girl this bracelet
Anna was now fighting with her inner self, to start the conversation about them, their past or not, a part of her was telling her it's now or never and another part was telling her to wait until all this was over
"So I've been thinking about it, about you and I-" She got cut off when she heard Lucas call them all from downstairs making her sigh, as the two made their way to where Lucas was
There they saw the chandelier's lights flickering as Nancy explained what happened with Will and about the Christmas lights
"So Vecna's in this house?" Anna asked the others
"Just on the other side" Lucas completed
"I think he just left the room" Robin estimated
"Did he hear us?" Max asked
"Can he see us?" Steve questioned
"Headphones" Anna reminded Max as she put in her headphones
"Wait wait, everyone turn off your flashlights and spread out" Nancy commanded as everyone did as told
"But we're not gonna be able to see if we turn off out flashlights" Steve said but stopped when he saw everyone leave "Jesus Christ"
"I got him!" They heard Robin shout after a few minutes of spreading out "Got him! I got him!" Suddenly her flashlight turned off as Steve's flashlight who was beside her flashed "I had him"
"Oh woah" He exclaimed "Oh I think he's moving, he's moving, he's moving"
"Steve be careful- I mean bird brain" Anna warned as Steve looked at her for a moment before following the light
They all went upstairs when Steve's light turned off
"I lost him"
"No you didn't" Max started walking in a direction, opening the door they could see lights Max entered the room followed by Anna and everyone
"It's an attic, ofcourse it's an attic" Robin's voice shaked, they all walked into the attic as they heard electricity buzzing when their flashlights started turned on later the glass breaking which hit Anna right below her eye cutting it a bit
