2 Days Later

Exactly two days have passed since the events and them 'defeating' Vecna, after the four came back from the upside down, and saw Dustin alone, without Eddie, then Lucas and Erica with Max in their arms

After that day, people started moving out of Hawkins, at a rapid rate, scared what this town might hold for them, if they stayed there longer

Thatt when the 'earthquake' hit, many people died, and many went missing, high school students were murdered and the town decided to blame it all on Eddie Munson, the very guy who sacrificed himself for this town was now made the most wanted man

Steve, Robin, Dustin, Nancy and Anna were in front of the Wheeler's house taking out things to donate for people in need, they waited for Karen to come out with boxes near Steve's car

"Someone order a pizza?" Karen asked making them look towards the van that was approaching them

From which, exited El, Mike, Will, Jonathan and Argyle, everybody's eyes widened at the sight, also making them relieved, they rushed towards each other, Anna went to Argyle

"What are you doing here" She asked hugging him

"You see that weird girl there?" he said pulling away "She has superpowers and she said that she needs to get to Hawkins as soon as possible" he explained

"Yeah, I know she has superpowers" Anna nodded looking at El who was with Will as they approached each other "Woah what happened" she said touching her head

"Doctor Brenner" she mumbled

"Oh I am gonna kill that son of a bitch" Anna cursed

"You don't need to" El paused "He's dead" Anna blinked twice

"Oh" she said approaching Will "Glad you're safe"

"Me too" he said breaking the hug

"I am gonna join them" Anna said going towards Steve and Robin, she patted Steve's back as she entered the car

"What?" he said agitated

"Nothing" she nodded to herself before he started driving away

The four reached Hawkins high school, which was now made into a shelter type, they picked up the boxes from the trunk and started walking towards the building, Anna helping her brother in walking

Upon entering, it was crowded, with a bulletin board at the side, they walked forward as they saw a lady by the counter, they approached her

"Um hi" Anna spoke up since she was the only one who could

'one was birdbrain, one keeps rambling, and one is kid' as she quoted

"Hi" the lady replied smiling back at her

"So, Melissa?" Anna asked making the lady nod "We have, some blankets, kids toys and clothes here" Anna spoke pointing at boxes in all the four's hands

"Wow, this is all already so organized" The lady appreciated "We appreciate it" Anna smiled at her

"Thanks" she said

"Do you want a tax receipt for it or...?" Melissa asked

"Uh, no, I don't think we'll need one" Anna smiled at the lady as she smiled back "Thank you though" she looked around "But is there anything else, we can help with?"

"Then we sort by age, we got infants, boys, girls, men, woman, oh if anything's in really bad shape we don't want that " A volunteer explained to Steve and Anna

Anna took out a pill and put it on her tongue as the both of them got to work, folding clothes and arranging them properly

"Shit, I need a moment" Anna said backing away

"You okay?" he asked, as she felt as if she couldn't breath

"Yeah, yeah just a moment" she smiled at him before going outside

She went to a corner behind the building as she took deep breaths, in an attempt to calm her nerves and stop shaking so much, she sat down with her back supported on the wall behind

Tears started forming in her eyes making her eyes started burning, she blinked in an attempt to stop the tears but they didn't, they rolled down from her now warm and red cheeks, she pursed her lips together

"Anna?" she heard and looked up to find a worried Steve

"Steve" she sniffled wiping her tears "What's up?" He sighed as he walked towards her

"You don't always have to be so strong you know" he said as he opened his arms "You can try to hide it as much as you want but you know I can see right through you" and she scoffed before hugging him around the neck "You can cry it's okay"

After hearing him say this, she couldn't help but completely break down in his arms, as he held her tight

"I don't know man" she said between her sobs "It should've been me, not Max, me" she said as her voice breaking

"No, she's gonna be okay, okay?" he comforted her "You're gonna be okay" he paused  "She's gonna wake up" he whispered "And then you can tell her everything that happened, until then you have to stay, for me, for Robin"

They were now folding more clothes and arranging them as they looked over to the food counter and saw Robin talking to a girl

"Who's she?" Anna asked, making Steve look at her

"She's uh" he tried to dodge the topic but was met by Anna's glare "Vicki" Anna grunted as she saw both of them smile

"Hey Anna?" Steve called making her turn around he pointed towards the window

"What is that?" she whispered as everybody started walking towards it, Robin stepped behind Anna and held her hand, Anna entwining their fingers

They saw smoke coming from openings and red opening, 4 lines, 4 gates, intersecting in the middle.

4 gates, bleeding into Hawkins
