Bat-tle

By that evening, they all got ready with everything they thought they needed to defeat Vecna, they got to the Creel house, where they separated ways, Erica, Lucas and Max going inside

"Hey, you better come out alive, all three of you" Anna warned the three when they got off who nodded in return

Next, by the night, they got to Eddie's trailer, where the real shit was about to begin, they stayed inside the van for a few moments

"Okay, I wanna run through it one more time" Nancy said as she was stood "Phase one"

"We meet Erica at the playground" Robin answered "She'll signal Max and Lucas when we're ready"

"Phase two"

"Max baits Vecna, he'll go after her which will put him in his trance" Steve answered

"Phase three"

"Me and Eddie draw the bats away" Dustin said as Eddie patted his head

"Four"

"We'll head to the bat free Vecna and boom" Anna spoke "Dead"

"Nobody moves on to the next phase untill we've all copied" Nancy reminds them "Nobody deviates from the plan, no matter what, got it?"

"Got it"

They all head inside Eddie's trailer and one by one, jump to the upside down, through the gate, taking their weapons with them, they all head outside, After  Steve warns Dustin and Eddie, Anna steps towards them

"Be alive alright?" She said as she hugged Eddie and then Dustin "Be careful" she said before walking with the others

"Hey Anna" Eddie called making her turn around as he stepped forward "Make him pay" he said glancing to the side

"I will buddy" she smiled at him as she walked away

The three walk in silence, passing roads and woods, Steve and Nancy walking together, Anna and Robin a few steps ahead of them, after a while

"Uh.. I don't mean to freak anyone out, but I swear, I've seen this tree before" Robin said nervously

"We haven't seen this tree, love" Anna said walking forward making Robin follow her

"I mean, that would suck right? If we've seen that tree?" Robin asked the girl

"Ofcourse it would" She paused "I mean imagine, Vecna taking over the world because we got lost in the woods" Anna chuckled

"How can you crack a joke a in this moment?" Robin asked still just as nervous

"I don't know, it helps me calm down, but from the inside, I am shaking, screaming, crying, throwing up and what not, I am nervous as hell too Robin" Anna says

"Yeah, I know, you like to cover up, whatever you're feeling, and just put a mask on as if you don't care at all" Robin said a but calmer now

"I was thinking, October?" Anna said after a moment "You know since, you love me, I love you" Anna made a gesture with her hands

"October? To get back together?" Robin said making the girl facepalm

"I am talking about getting married" she said "It's not legal, but we don't have to register it legally, just a few close friends, like Dustin, Max, Steve, Nancy?" she paused "Eddie, Eddie, he'd be the most important person, he could play his guitar"

"He knows?"

"He figured it out, when we were in the van" Anna shrugged "We could adopt a dog?" she smiled

"Hey, look!" Robin exclaimed "Seems like we weren't going the wrong way" she said as she runs back "I have to tell Steve and Nancy

"No Robin wai-" Anna sighed as she held Robin's hand to stop her

"What?" She asked

"They're having a moment" Anna mentioned "Let's ruin it together" Anna smiled making Robin replicate the action as they went towards Steve and S
Nancy

"Eddie" Anna smiled, hearing master of puppets in the distance "C'mon, we gotta kill this son of a bitch"

They were now, very carefully entering and going up the stairs of the Creel house, which was now, bat free, thanks to Dustin and Eddie

As they walked up, with their hearts beating fast as ever, and their bodies trembling with fear, Steve led the way as Robin, Nancy and Anna followed

None of them spoke a word, them just taking out their weapons, when suddenly the floor started rumbling, they held onto each other for support

As it all came to an end they looked at each other in relief, it not lasting long, when a vine wrapped around Robin's leg, and pulled her to the wall, covering her whole body

Anna without a second thought, hit the vines as hard as she could to free Robin from this, Steve and Nancy joined, that stopped when a vine caught Steve's leg as it slammed him into the other wall, trapping him

Anna cursed and tried to hit the one on Steve's side but it wrapped around Anna's leg as well, doing the same as it did to the two, in front of her, she saw, Nancy as well on the wall, the vines choking all of them

They all gasped for oxygen as it began to fall short, while struggling to get out of the vines grasp, Anna's hand found it's way into Robin's as they held onto each other, afraid of letting go

Anna thought this was it for her, that she was gonna die, that she was never gonna see her brother, or her bestfriend or Eddie or Max ever again, she realised she was never gonna experience her October wedding

Her life's all her happy and precious moments played in her head, with Dustin, with Steve, with Robin, How they were together figuring out the Russian spy code

Her and Robin's first meet, the hallway glances, when she saw her at Scoops Ahoy, for the first time in years, running away from the Russians, their kiss, how she taught Robin how to play a guitar

She remembered how Dustin was ready to die if she died, how he'd ask for her help with his homework, and her not being able to understand a middle schooler's math

She remembered how her and Steve would mess around with teacher, how they'd often end up getting detention, how she helped Steve in getting up Nancy's room's window

She remembered how she first met Eddie, way back, when she used to mess around with drugs, they'd sell to each other often, how they recently got the marker matching tattoo

A few long moments passed and suddenly the vines were loose and they fell on the ground coughing and gasping for oxygen loudly

"I don't believe in higher power, or divine intervention but that was a miracle" Robin spoke as they saw the vines retract

"The we better not waste it" Nancy said turning around  "Phase four" she said before cocking her gun

"Boom" Anna mumbled as they all walked inside the place, where they were gonna find Vecna in his trance

Entering the place they saw Vecna exactly how they thought, in air, with a thousand vines attached to him, in his trance

Anna took out a bottle and handed her lighter to Robin, signalling her to light the cloth of the bottle, as she did and Anna, with all her force and rage threw the bottle on Vecna's body, making him fall down, as they all covered their eyes

He slowly got up and stepped towards the four, Robin lighting another bottle and throwing it at him, Nancy stepped closer towards him, aiming her gun, she shot him three times making him fall backwards

He growled towards them, before attempting to take a step, Nancy shot him one last time as his body went flying backwards breaking the wood behind him as he fell on the floor outside the house

All of them walked outside through the stairs in an attempt to see Vecna's dead body, they stared at each other in confusion when they didn't see any body there

They heard the clock chime making the four walk back inside the house, as they reached the stairs, the floor started rumbling as they looked at each other in horror
