Dear Santiago,
Sorry that I didn't write for a year. The last year had been a lot. I graduated high school.
My parents are divorced now. It happened one day when I came back from school, I was so devasted at the news. But as time passed, I learned to live through my grief. Sadiya still had a bad taste in music.
Yusuf and Majid bonded over time, he spent a lot of his time in their house.
Today is the day I would start a new phase of my life. I have applied to a college and would be studying counseling.
I just want to say that you've been a great friend throughout this journey. I may not write to you again, but I'm proud of you.
Thank you for being there for me.
