"HIM"

"THE AUDACITY of that guy to claimed that credit! Ugh! He's so nakakairita na talaga!" my li'l sister slammed the TV remote control on our glass table.

"Gordon was desperate," I stated, smirking. ". . . claiming himself as the culprit is his kind of game changer."

"Pathetic." I added.

"Ugh! I can't take this! I don't want this! Kuya, do something!" she shook my shoulders and gave me her usual annoying stare.

Look, I'm not a dog who was born to follow his master. I'm not a dog in the first place, let alone my sister being my master. I have plans in my mind where this dramatic part of his have been predicted.

"Kuya! Come on! Are you even paying attention?!"

I heaved a long and deep sigh.

Seems like I'll rely on my third measure.

"Stay here and do your thing." I patted her head and went to my room underground.

If ever the word "basement" crossed in your mind as I mentioned my room underground, it's safe to think that you're a shallow thinker with such a low intelligent quotient.

Well, can't blame you. That's how people think.

Anyway, I'm referring to my favorite place: my room.

Room where my plans were born.

A teaspoon of predictions and two cups of preparations. These two are the main ingredients in my every recipe.

Now, all I need is the person whom I will serve his last meal. And that person shall be now knocking at Death's door.

Paano ko magagawa 'yon? Using the method I mastered: disguising.

Disguising is quite exciting, I'll give you that. But it's tiring as well. Given that I know the features and even the small details of the person whom I'll copy, one wrong move and a domino effect of failure will end my laugh.

Failing has never been my option.

"For my final touch . . ." I mimicked his pose and body posture. I smirked as I saw the new personality reflected by the mirror.

I guess Finx is really something. I like his fashion style. Mine is better, though.

Seems like you're slowly getting the picture here. Not boring, isn't it?

I was about to go up when my phone beeped.

From: The Guy Who was Named After Rolling Heavy Ball

Naroon na ho siya.

I hid my phone in my pocket and went up.

Betraying a friend for the money. How could these people are easy to manipulate?

It's not my problem, anyway. And will never be.

"GORDON, MAY dalaw ka!" the police officer shouted as he unlocked the prison gate.

Yeah. I came here as Finx Agathon Gualberto to solve his oh-so-boring first case that involves his dearest Ninong Gord.

"Finx," Gordon smiled and approached me. I smiled a bit and take my seat. ". . . what brought you here?"
