Just want to give a little analysis into M/N's known ability.
I will give this power more depth, this is just a little synopsis for now.

He doesn't have a name for it, he thinks giving things like powers names is a little juvenile, he simply just acknowledges it as 'reading people.'

Visualization:

For a very brief moment, M/N can trick peoples eyes into seeing what they want to see. With this he can gain an advantage. This illusion is lost if any of the four (excluding vision) senses are disturbed by M/N or until the time runs out. Lasts for about a few seconds.

Memories:

Like done with Killua, M/N looked into his 'core' memories. That's why he saw Illumi and his assassin moments, he also saw his family members and such which is why he would be able to recognize any of them come contact.

Emotional:

It's harder for him to read into emotions through eyes, unless they are strong, he generally doesn't use this part of his ability too often, simply because he nobly believes someone's emotional state is not for him to pry into. (despite him literally learning about people's pasts without asking, he does have standards, they're just flawed..)

Schemes:

He can read ill intent only if he acknowledges ill intent, like with Tonpa, he felt shady and so he knew to look into it deeper than a surface-level analysis.
A little bit harder to read, though he often does these analyses as he likes to keep himself trouble-free.

He often sees these images inside his mind, it does distract him from reality, which wouldn't be good for a fight.

Visualization creates a facade, it is usually what the victim wishes to see so that their mind will willingly welcome the trickery. During this short period of time, M/N, as long as he doesn't interact with the victim or make any distracting noises, can utilize this facade to overpower his opponent. Smell and taste don't often contribute.

Emotions are shown through imagery, generally what the subject is associating with those emotions.
Ex: Off the top of my head I associate flowers with happiness, but when feeling happiness I might think of what's making me happy.

Memories show up as how the subject would have seen them when making them.
Emotions are not included, but they can be through a difficult process M/N doesn't care to do.

Intent shows up as a puzzling series of images.
Ex: Tonpa, can, pill, swirling colours, though this one was easy to figure out, he's had far more difficult.

I wanna give this more depth because I don't want it to seem like a throwaway silly little thing he did to escape talking to stinky Tonpa, it will be of use dw.

If you have any more questions abt it, ask!
:]
