The message sent in the chat surprised everyone, the surprise still remains but of course other emotions must come when it is grief we are experiencing. 

"This... can't be... Scar isn't even a red name... I-it just..." -Cleo *Scott hugs Cleo*

"I'm going to text Grian in chat... it is his soulmate" -Jimmy

*Jimmy types in chat*

"Grian come to Scott's Ranch, we need to talk"

*5 minutes go by*

"Maybe we should stop by and check on them... what if Scar did something to Grian..." - Jimmy

"They are soulmates if he hurts Grian he hurts himself, I don't think Scar is THAT foolish" -Pearl

"First, says you, Pearl. And second, Jimmy might be right, he killed Big while being a green name. Who knows what he'd do to Grian, especially to us if we tried to do anything" -Etho

Silence...

"Ok... Pearl, Scott and Cleo will go scope out the area of their base. Type in chat if you need back up" -Tango

*Everyone nods in agreement*

*Cut to the three in different hiding places scoping out the base*

'... Etho is right... "says you, pearl" I'm the crazy one... they don't even know me... but off the bat, I wasn't good enough to be a soulmate...' -Pearl in her thoughts

*Panda noise*

*Pearl jolts*

"Jesus-- ugh, damn jellies... you guys are cute but knock it off" -Pearl whispers

*Pearl spots Scott and Cleo slowly walking inside the base*

"Wait... what about me... d-did they forget about me!? 

*Pearl checks chat to see they did indeed not tell her about this plan* 

well then... I guess they got the bottom floor, I guess I'll get the other floors sense they think I'm so useless to their little plan" -Pearl speaks to herself and the Jellies with tears falling down her face

*Pearl goes to a spot on the base she knows she can easily climb up to the very top floor*

*Once Pearl is inside the top floor, she takes out a torch and starts carefully looking around. The floor is small so there isn't much to look at. Once she is done, she jumps down to the second floor, sword in hand*

"JESEUS PEARL, YOU CAN'T JUST DO THAT" -Scott yells clearly startled

"Well, sense you two just wandered in here without telling me I thought I could do the same" -pearl

*When Pearl finished her sentence the other two had the same guilty faces*

"Anyway, third floor is clear, you done checking down here yet" -Pearl

"... no... Behind you we haven't checked yet..." -Cleo

*Pearl turns around with her torch and begins to look around*

*a few min of looking around. They found absolutely nothing, just dust*

"Nothing... did they move without telling us?" -Scott

"That could be it... but... I think Grian would have told us they moved, maybe not where but at least if they did" -Cleo

"Grian is smart, oblivious sometimes but he's smart... you've seen his triple kill, Scott" -Pearl

"Yea... I have... do you think they're planning to get rid of all of us...?" -Scott

"Maybe... Grian wouldn't... but... he did do the triple kill... with Scar, right Scott?" -Cleo

"He did, he used Scar's red name as an alibi" -Scott

"let's just get back to the-... your guys' ranch" -Pearl

*The others say nothing but nod as they cautiously exit the seemingly abandoned base*

I am so sorry for the long wait... I've been having some trouble with writers block and my mental health hasn't been helping with that. All I want to do is lie in bed and watch YouTube while blocking off all contact with any human being. I'm just tired and every time I brought out my laptop, I instantly lost interest in doing any work even though writing used to make me so happy. I am not done writing this fanfic and I will continue it was just this chapter that really got me stuck. Have a good day / night!
