“Gu Shishi, don’t think that you have won! Karma will get you sooner or later. What you have done to Wushuang will come back and bite you!”

Gu Shishi was just about to run toward the super luxurious sports car when she heard the voice behind her abruptly.

“It won’t end well for you marrying that man who gives bad luck to anyone who’s close to him!” The one who ran out after her was the girl who had spilled wine on her earlier.

What kind of spell had that Gu Wushuang cast on all these people? All of them had gone insane.

Gu Shishi pursed her lips.

“You’re wrong. He didn’t bring me bad luck. In fact, he saved my life.”

Having said that, she rubbed her nose and checked on the system that had finished with levelling up.

Gu Shishi couldn’t help but smile with satisfaction.

She then looked up, smiled at the red wine girl, and said, “If it wasn’t for him, I be dead already.”

Having said that, she turned to leave. Then, paused on her way and added with narrowed eyes, “As for your karma statement, right back at ya.”

After she has said that, she turned around and waved at the person still standing behind her as though she was just someone insignificant and that she couldn’t be bothered to give her another look. The girl in the delicate ball gown was infuriated by her action.

Gu Shishi turned around and saw Siyi sitting at the driver’s seat, looking shocked, as though she had just said something shocking.

“Miss Gu.” Siyi recollected himself quickly, jumped out of the car, and walked briskly over to open up the backseat door for her. His mannerism toward her was respectful, even the way he was looking at her was filled with admiration.

He tried as hard as he could not to look inside the car, but he couldn’t help but glance over subtly. There was a tall, handsome, and dignified man sitting coldly in the back seat of the car.

The boss... heard Miss Gu’s words earlier, right?

She couldn’t live without him....

Even recalling her words gave him goosebumps on the back of his neck. Miss Gu was so good with her words. That was so lovey dovey that it’s sickening!

When the boss heard Miss Li saying that he brought bad luck to those around him, the temperature inside the car had fallen to that of an ice chest. He was having a difficult time just to breathe.

As soon as Miss Gu started talking though, the temperature inside went up a few degrees right away!

Spring might as well have been here, and all the snow had melted.

“Oh, Siyi, how come you are here to pick me up? I have already phoned Master Chen.”

Smiling, Gu Shishi walked over and was about to climb into the car. Before she climbed inside, with just her right hand resting on the back of the seat in front to support herself and half a foot inside the car, she shuddered.

A pair of slender and tall legs entered her sight. The dark brown striped pants were really filled out by the pair of legs.

And those thighs were... amazing.

“Cough. Cough, cough, cough...”

Too much imagination went through her head, and she choked on her own drool.
