Huo Sishen was enraged.

The angry look on him was enough to intimidate anyone.

Even the bulky Siyi would not want to be in the crosshair, let alone Huo ChuChu, a little girl who was still working on her master degree.

She had turned pale.

She was having a hard time holding onto the spoon that she was forcing herself to hold onto this entire time!

“Big Brother...”

Huo Sishen’s handsome face dropped. “I am no longer your brother some 15 years ago.”

He was banished from the Huo’s.

“I only keep my last name out of respect for those who had passed away.”

Because his late father and grandfather’s surnames were Huo.

“But all you Huo’s have nothing to do with me anymore.”

Huo Sishen narrowed his eyes.

“I had you stayed for lunch as a friend of my fiancée.

“You should leave if you are done eating.”

Huo ChuChu was about to start crying.

She, she was only looked at as his fiancee’s friend...

An outsider...

How could he be so crude?

All these years, he has been getting worse as the years passed.

He was like this every time they have met!

She threw down the spoon and stood up, dazed, as though her spirit had left her body. She walked toward the door, looking very out of it.

“Thank... thank you for having me...”

Her smokey makeup were half gone and her silverish grey hair seemed to have fallen down.

Huo Sishen closed his eyes.

His lips shut and he held onto the chopsticks tightly.

Gu Shishi picked up another soup dumpling. She looked over at Huo Sishen, then over at Huo ChuChu, whose knees were weak.

She sighed quietly.

She was the only fearless one who understood what was going through the boss’s mind from the fondness level in the system.

As long as the fondness maintained, the boss’s mood was within a controllable range.

She wasn’t worried at all.

There was, however, a dull pain in her heart.

Why, oh, why though?

They were brothers and sisters. Why did they want their relationship to get to this point?

Only after the front door had opened and closed before Huo Sishen slowly opened up his eyes and gazed at the empty seat wordlessly.

He finally put down the chopsticks after a long while.

He stood up.

Walked up to second floor and went back inside his room.

He didn’t say a word to Gu Shishi.

“Aye.”

Gu Shishi rested her head on her palm. Looking at the table-full of food, she had lost her appetite.

She was not a picky person.

She was not very particular.

Her taste in food was very similar to that of the original owner. She enjoyed these soup dumplings. The duck blood vermicelli wasn’t bad either.
