I sigh grabbing my backpack off the ground next to my door
"another day of this bs" i mumble standing in front of my mirror making sure i look presentable
once i'm satisfied i head downstairs seeing my big brother Jalen sitting on the couch
"you dropping me off?" i raise my eyebrow at him
"cmon man" he sighs standing up grabbing his phone and keys
"i was gone skip today but you just gotta be a nerd huh" he mumbles headed to the door
"i'm not a nerd i just got shit planned for my future unlike you and my record needs to be perfect" i shrug following behind him
"like i said..nerd" he scoffs making me mug the back of his big ass head
i get in the passenger seat as he starts the car and we head on our way
"ou can we stop to chic-fila" i smile at him and he side eyes me before turning into the drive through making my smile widen
"whatchu want" he looks at me fully
"uh, some of them hash browns and an orange juice" i say keeping in mind i'm not that hungry
"you sure youn want a lil sandwich too or sum" he says looking concerned
"nigga drive tf" i mug him
"that's what my ass get for tryna be a good big brother, stfu talking to me bro" he says looking pissed
he drives up to the next window and gets the food from the lady before passing it to me
"thankyou" i smile at him and he rolls his eyes before driving off
SCHOOL
"you finna take the bus or you need me to pick you up" Jalen says as i start getting out the car
i think for a second before answering
"imma take the bus" i say and he nods as i grab all my shii
"bye" i wave at him and he waves back before driving away
i sigh before adjusting my bag on my back and heading inside the building trying to bypass these big body football players
