"is that all?" i ask looking down at the notepad with the list of instructions
"the guest bedroom is the farthest room upstairs, that's where you'll be sleeping tonight, if you need anything just call me" the older lady said smiling at me grabbing her purse
i nod looking from the little boy sitting on the couch back at her
"and my daughter naveia is upstairs but she barely comes out of her room so i doubt you'll cross paths" she says and i nod once again
she starts walking to the little boy as i watch intently
she says something to him before giving him a kiss on the forehead and heading for the front door
once she leaves i let out a a breath and head towards the living room where the little boy is
i look between him and the tv before sitting down next to him
"what's your name" i ask giving him a soft smile
he looks at me for a second before looking back at the tv
"ok tf" i mumble scrunching my face up getting up heading to the kitchen
i open the fridge only seeing takeout and jello
i shake my head heading back to the living room before stopping in my tracks seeing a figure standing behind the boy
the figure looks at me before walking up to me into the light
i almost clench my legs together seeing a tall brown skin stud with 2 french braids
i assume it's the daughter the older lady was talking about
i take notice to the few piercings sticking out of her face
"who you" she asks looking me up and down
"oh i'm babysitting your brother" i saying giving her a small smile
she looks me over one more time before turning around and heading upstairs
