P.O.V first person
My heart raced as the train got closer to my stop. Subconsciously, I began to fidget with the hem of my cardigan sleeve, the loose, thin fabric feeling to tight and hot against my skin.
I don't know why I'm so nervous?
I'm just meeting up with a friend who I haven't spoken to in years.I hope he doesn't just walk away once he realises.
I looked down at my outfit, I wore a pair of high waisted, light blue jeans with a cropped shirt and a cardigan, the shirt had a mushroom print on it. The other night I had re-bleached the ombré in my hair, the two colours being blond and brown.
My hair was half tied up, two strands falling in front of my face.I grabbed my phone from my pocket, reading the notification on the screen.
Loser
I'm standing by the fountain at [xxx-xxxx] park.I forgot I had that as his contact name.
I feel bad seeing as we aren't close friends anymore, but he reached out hoping that we could rekindle our friendship. It didn't end on bad terms of anything, we just stopped talking. The train slowed to a stop. I stood up from my seat and walked out the door, putting the address to the park into my phone.
I followed the direction for about five minutes before making it to the park.I just hope he accepts me.

P.O.V third person
Lana stood next to the large fountain, the centrepiece of the park she was in.
It was a quiet place, no one visited here and it was quite secluded. Which Lana was very grateful for.She wore a long patterned skirt, with a tight cropped shirt to match.
Lana had dirty blond hair that reached her shoulders and wore a small butterfly clip to hold hair out her face. The environment in the park was gorgeous. There were plenty of trees and hundreds of flowers all over he place. It looked like some fairy garden you would see people photograph and put on Pinterest.
Lana let out a content sigh, smiling as she breathed in the fresh air.
It was ten minutes until Riley was supposed to meet her here. Worried the other won't know where she is, Lana sent her a message.Loser
I'm standing by the fountain at
[xxx-xxxx] park.Turning off her phone, Lana sat down on the edge of the stone fountain, putting her elbows on her knees to hold her up as she lent forward slightly, her head resting on her palms.
To say Lana was nervous was an understatement.
Meeting up with an old friend and teenage crush, who you haven't seen in years, after so many things have changed is nerve wracking.Thoughts rushed through Lana's mind, will Riley piece things together? Does she even remember my old name?
Her thoughts were cut off by a familiar and soothing voice.
"Luk-" the girl cut herself off as she observed the person in front of her. Lana watched as the other avoided her gaze, eyes focused on either the ground or the water in the fountain.
"Riley?" Lana questioned, hoping she was wrote about who the other was. Lana's eyes slowly scanned Riley's outfit, her jaw clenched, she loved how the outfit looked on the other.
Riley's brown hair paired nicely with the faded blue of her jeans and the reddish-brown shirt.
Riley nodded, confirming her own name. Her brown eyes met with Lana's hazel ones, her inability to say the others name asked question she struggled to say out loud.
"Lana." She informed, smiling at Riley.
"It's nice seeing you again... Lana." Riley greeted, the two absorbed in the memories of their friendship thought out their teenage years.
Both avoided the others gaze with sightly reddened cheeks. "I see a lot has changed."Lana nodded in confirmation, letting out a small breath she was holding in.
The two girls sat there talking by the fountain, catching up with each other, talking about the most random things the two of them could come up with.
As seconds of small talk turned into minutes of conversation, the two girls grew nervous and felt giddy.
A thought crossed both their minds.'Fuck. She's hot.'
