Chapter 11: First kiss and last goodbye

Recap: Akshara met Rajvanshis and Sharmas. (Her three masis, their husband and sons) Mishti stayed the night. Ananya, Ranveer and Rohan are staying at Maheshwari house while others went to their own house.

The next morning rolled in. Akshara woke up and rubbed her eyes. Yesterday's memories ran through her mind. She still couldn't absorb that she had such a large family. Technically, these people weren't even her own maternal relatives, they were her mother's but they were so sweet to her. Akshara felt it was really mean of Goenkas to keep her away from them.

Akshara: Its evident they never thought of my feelings. Arohi ke age they never saw me...mujhe humesha family se door hi rakha but agar door bhejna hi tha toh yahan bhej dete! Mujhe akela krke kya mill gaya unhe?

This is one thing she will probably never understand. If they don't love her enough, why not give her to someone who does? Did they hate her? She shook her head. Her life had taken a new turn and she needed to remove all this bad memories and negative emotions. But, Akshara was human after all, she had not fully forgiven Goenkas yet and her heart did have some resentment. However, she knew she will learn to let go completely; even of the memories.

Misthi: Good morning!!

Akshara looked up to see Mishti come out of the washroom. She hugged her and Akshara smiled. Her masi really did have a very warm smile.

Akshara: Good morning!

Mishthi: Mai neeche jaa rahi hoon...tum bhi fresh hokr aa jana...okay?

Akshara nodded and took out her attire for the day. It was simple and comfortable. She was brushing her hair when she heard Rajshree call for her from downstairs.

Rajshree: Akshara? Beta ready ho?

Akshara: 5 minute Badi Nani..

Rajshree: Thik hai...

Rajshree smiled and sat down.

Mishti: Badi maa, apko bataya toh tha maine ki vo ready ho rahi hai...

Varsha: Maa na Akshi se baat krne ke liye ye sb kehti hai...

Vishambhar: Maine ek aur cheez notice ki, aap usse Akshu ya Akshi nahi...Akshara bulati hai...

Rajshree: Ji, saalon baad aisa mauka aya hai ki mai Akshara ka naam lu aur samne se jawab aaye...mujhe pta hai vo Akshu hai...pr..

Vishambhar held her hand. Even Varsha and Mishti got emotional. Rajshree never truly got over losing her daughter, but then what parent does?

Akshara: Badi Nani!!!

Akshara came rushing downstairs. Her dress flowed behind her. Her bright smile suddenly filled the hall with happiness. She was on her last step when she tripped.

Vishambhar: Akshu!!

Varsha: Akshi!!

Mishti and Rajshree gasped.

Akshara's eyes were closed. She was waiting for the floor to kiss her face but when it didn't. she slowly opened her eyes and saw that she was floating above the ground. She twisted slightly and saw Abhimanyu was holding a part of dress. He pursed his lips and finally tucked it harder to pull her. Her back crashed to his chest. Rohan, who was coming after Abhimanyu, checked her for injuries.

Rohan: Akshu? Thik ho?

Akshara: Ji bhai...

Rohan melted a little.
