Small A/N: I just wanted to thank you guys for 1.3k! I really appreciate it, and I'm glad people are enjoying this story! I had just checked my phone and looked at the views, and I was blown away, as I said before, I extremely appreciate everyone who has supported me! <3

Thank you so much! Now back to the story, :)

You glance over at the long-haired boy shuffling through his locker, clearly distressed, and you start to strut towards him.

He doesn't even notice the presence behind him until its starts tapping on his shoulder. He turns in shock and is about to throw a punch at the person until they slap it away in a panic,

"Woah, calm down Robin," You chuckle out with a sense of fear in your cracking voice, "It's just me," You laugh whilst flailing your arms up, "Jesus fucking christ Y/n. You scared the shit out of me, " He reasons, reminding you why he swung at you in the first place. "It's whatever man, " You snicker, starting to walk with him, "Why were you roughing up your locker?" You chuckle, "I couldn't find my math homework, Mr Johnson is going to lecture me once again," He groans "Well then get prepared to rush those notes for period two," You sneer, "Wait, what is period two?" He concernedly asks, turning to look at you, "Math, You know with Mr Johnson," You mention, lowering your head while still looking at Robin, he gives a long sigh, "Fuck, he's going to give me more homework to do, like I already don't have enough!" Huffing out until he suddenly chuckles out, "Nah, it's fine, Finney will help me out," You turn into a classroom and slightly yell out to Robin, "See you next period!" You smile, "See ya'," He cooly says.

You enter your science classroom and sit down sighing, taking your book and pen out, suddenly you hear a scrape of a chair moving beside you and a voice calls out to you, "Hey Y/n!" You turn your head and notice a smiley Bruce, but to be honest, no matter what, he would always be pulling his million-dollar smile at practically anyone. I guess he was just a happy guy, "Oh, hey Bruce," You smile widely back,

The bell begins to ring obnoxiously,

"Hey, uh, I have a baseball game today after school, with your friend Finney, do you want to come and watch?" He asks, gleaming, "Oh yeah I was already going to go because this is sorta a big deal for Finney, and I wanted to support him, you know?" You respond, placing your cheek on your hand, which was leaning on the table, "Cool cool," He says, slightly smiling and looking down to his book and opening it. Out of the blue, a familiar face opens the door and stomps into the classroom, "Well, look at you, back here again. Isn't that a surprise?" Miss Thatcher sarcastically asks, the blonde scoffs out a snarl, she turns to look around the classroom and tries to find an empty chair, she notices the chair behind you and Bruce is empty, she points towards Bruce's direction, "Take a seat behind Bruce." "Bruce who?"He huffs out, you turn to look at Bruce and his usual smiley face turns down to a frown, his eyes shuffle about, he clearly has a look of loss, something you'd see if he had missed the final ball, causing a strike three. This certain look of fear that you had never expected Bruce to emit, "Don't be impolite, Vance." She snapped, how did he always find a way to squeeze himself into everywhere where you are, it was starting to get confusing and worrying-

You were snapped out of your thoughts by the sound of a loud bang, coming from a chair being slammed out of the way. You look back and see Vance sitting down on the chair, you turn back to your book and Miss Thatcher begins teaching, "So," She pauses turning to the blackboard, "Everyone, today's lesson will be on magnets,"

"You know it's crazy, we have been sitting in the same seats all year and we haven't even had a proper conversation before?" Bruce whispers, leaning closer, you look at him and snicker, "Yeah, well we had never bumped into each other, " You both silently laugh until a screech of a chair makes both of you stop, and you see Bruce's throat tighten up, you turn back to see Vance with his legs relaxing on the back of Bruce's chair, slightly pushing Bruce forward. Vance's face is scrunched up into a frown, with furrowed brows, tensed eyes and jaw. He leans forward, sitting up, snatching his legs off Bruce's chair, and crossing them, he also crosses his arms and looks out of the window to his left, pretending as if he was doing that the entire time.

You scoff; clearly disappointed in his petty behaviour, you turn to him and stare into his face whilst grinning, he looks at you and then quickly looks away, then he glances over at you again for a second. He tenses his shoulders and you see his cheeks turn a shade of light pink as he stares at a tree trying his best not to look at you.

You chuckle and turn back to the teacher, lifting your pen and finally writing something on your page.

* Vances' POV *

I stare out at the window, glancing at the people passing by, I turn my head and stare at the back of Y/n's head for a moment, unknowingly softening my face, then turn to that kid, Bruce, what's special about him anyway? So what if he was nicer? I'm still better than that fucker in every other way possible. I kick his chair and he slowly turns around, "You got a pen?" I sharply say, making sure to unnerve him simply by the tone of my voice,

That was how I always made my reputation distinctively known; by beating people up, starting arguments and having an intimidating voice, everyone around me had at least a little fear surrounding me, all but one person, Y/n. I don't know why, but she doesn't fear me, in fact, she intimidated me. It was weird, it was like for the first time in forever, I felt softer toward someone, vulnerable and prone to embarrassment.

"Uh, yeah," He responds quietly, shuffling his hand around in his bag, "Here you go," He whispers whilst holding out the pen, I grab the pen harshly, gripping his fist, crushing it under my palm. "Thanks." I rasp out,

"Why are you just now asking for a pen? It's almost been like 20 minutes since the lesson started," He awkwardly laughs, "Never too late to try and turn around your entire education and future in one lesson," I spit out, leaning back on my chair and tapping the pen on the table, "Right," He whispers then looks at Y/n, she turns back and then smiles back at him.

Whatever, I could put this motherfucker in the hospital as quickly as I can blink.

I hope you enjoyed this chapter! I think I'm going to start doing a minimum of 1000 words each chapter, I usually feel like if it's under it's automatically bad in my eyes- I want to thank you again for 1.3k! I couldn't have gotten this far without you guys! <3
