A New Life on a New Earth

Chapter 56

The next day Oliver and Kara made their way to the bunker after they were done with work for the day. When they arrived they saw that they were the first people there, so they went and changed into workout clothes and started their training while waiting for everyone else to arrive.

When Kara and Oliver came out of the changing rooms, Oliver couldn't help but look at Kara and shake his head. "What?" Kara asked.

"Do you know how crazy you make me when you wear tight pants like those?" Oliver asked.

"You always were such an ass man." Kara said with a smile.

"Guilty as charged." Oliver said with a smile as well.

The two finally got to working out and waited for the others to show up so that they could tell them about their latest mission for Novu. Something weird happened the next minute that caused both of the heroes to turn around.

They saw a bright light and when the light went away, two people were standing there. A woman, in what looked like a version of Oliver's suit and a man in what looked like Kal's suit except for the fact the colors were different with the suit being red and the boots and cape were blue.

"Who the hell are you two supposed to be?" Oliver asked in shock that someone could just teleport into their bunker being that he had made sure that the security here was much better than the bunker on Earth 1.

"Well, that is easy to explain, but you probably won't believe us." the man said.

"We have seen a lot of weird stuff in our lives. How about you tell us and then we will decide how weird everything really is." Kara said.

The woman nodded as she took down her hood. "My name is Karen and this is Conner. We are your kids from the future." Karen said and now Oliver and Kara could definitely see the resemblance between them and the two others standing in front of them.

Conner looked exactly like Oliver, except he had his mother's bright blue eyes and Karen was the exact opposite, looking exactly like Kara except for her father's eyes. This was definitely not the weirdest thing that had ever happened to the two heroes over the years.

"That's not that hard to believe. So, not that it isn't good to meet you two, but what are you doing here?" Kara asked.

"Some guy in a weird looking suit came to us and said that you guys needed help in the past and then he sent us back here. We weren't really expecting this either." Karen said.

"I see that you have your mother's powers." Oliver said looking at his son, then he looked at his daughter and said, "I guess you got the short end of the stick there."

"Not really. We both have mom's powers. I just choose to not use them unless I have to. We both know how to fight and are great at archery. We just chose different paths when it was time for us to take over." Karen said.

"Why are the colors on your suit the opposite of mine, Conner?" Kara asked.

"Jonathan and Jordan both took after Uncle Clark and they have the same color suits as him. I thought it would be best to have something a little different." Conner said.

"That makes sense. I actually like the colors." Kara said.

It wasn't long later when some of the team started to come in and they saw that two new people were in the room as well. Alex pulled her gun and aimed at the two. "Who the hell are you two and what are you doing in here?"

"Calm down Aunt Alex. We are just here to help." the man said.

"What do you mean Aunt?" Alex asked.

"My name is Karen and this is Conner. We are Kara and Oliver's kids from the future." Karen said.

"That is not the hardest thing to believe, being that I used to be a time traveler as well." Sara said and all of the other heroes nodded since they had to agree.

"So, what are you two doing here?" Thea asked.

"Mar Novu came to the future and told us that all of you needed our help with what was coming. He sent us back and this is where we turned up." Conner said.

"Of course he did. I am really starting not to like this guy. I mean it is nice to meet you two and all, but why can't he just let us take care of this on our own?" Alex said.

"I don't know if we are capable, Alex. Oliver and I have seen what we are up against. We need all the help that we can get." Kara said.

"That is what he said. I hope that we are enough though. Barry and Caitlin's daughter has already disappeared. I hope the same doesn't happen to us too." Conner said and they remembered how Dawn had disappeared when they were trying to help Barry not too long ago.

"Yeah, we remember. We were there when that happened." Oliver said and the kids just nodded.

"So, which one of you is the stubborn one and which of you is the kind one?" Thea asked with a smile as she received an eye roll from her brother, but he also was happy for the change of topic.

"I guess you could say that I am more like dad and Conner is more like mom." Karen said.

"Yeah, I can never get her to change her mind on anything. We are always getting in trouble because of that, but I won't let her do things on her own, so she always has backup." Conner said and his sister rolled her eyes, which made everyone see that she really was like Oliver.

"So, are you twins or what?" Alex asked.

"Yes, we are twins. How about we do some training so that we can all get used to working with each other. It will help when we get out in the field." Karen said and all of the heroes nodded as they went to training and getting to know the younger Queens.
