A New Life on a New Earth

Chapter 58

The next week or so went by without much trouble. The team had just had to stop small crimes, like someone robbing a bank or a store. They decided to do a lot of training when they weren't out on the streets patrolling. They all knew that the only way to win this fight was if they were ready, so they continued to train and because of that, they knew that they were ready when the time came.

As if on cue, Novu appeared out of nowhere. Oliver just shook his head. He had a feeling that everything would start soon. He was just hoping that he was wrong though.

"What can I do for you, Novu?" Oliver asked.

"I have one last mission for you. We are going to Earth 1 Lian Yu. You, Supergirl, Your kids, and a few more will be needed for this mission. Pick who you want with you and then I will teleport you there." Novu said.

"How many more do you need?" Oliver asked.

"Three should probably do." Novu said.

"Ok. I will get Thea, Alex, and Sara." Oliver said as he went to get those three.

By the time he had returned with those three, Kara and the kids were there waiting for them.

"I have never been to Lian Yu before. I am looking forward to this." Karen said.

"I wouldn't look forward to it if I was you. I have no good experiences there." Oliver said and Karen just nodded knowing that he was right.

"So, let's get to this." Oliver said and Novu nodded and then teleported them all to Lian Yu.

When they looked around and saw that they were on Lian Yu, Oliver noticed that things were different here than they were when he was last here. Everything was Green, where when he was last here it had been blown to hell and burnt to a crisp.

"What happened here? This is not the Lian Yu that I last saw." Oliver said.

"As you know, Lian Yu is a magical nexus just like Star City. I believe that has something to do with the way things look here." Novu said and Oliver nodded.

"So, what is it that we need to do here?" Kara asked.

"The reason that you were brought here was so that you could put together the device that you have been gathering supplies for. Your kids will do that, while the rest of you protect them." Novu said.

"Protect them from what?" Thea asked.

"Everyone that your brother has ever met on this island is back. They will try to stop the device from being built because it will send them away. You will also have allies here as well." Novu said and everyone nodded.

"What do we do once the device is built?" Sara said.

"It will do something that will help you all when it is time to fight in the crisis. At least it will for Oliver, Kara, and Barry. I am going to go and get him now. I will be back soon." Novu said as he disappeared and it was probably a minute later with Barry with him.

"Ok, you now have everything that you need to do what you have to do. Kids, I suggest you get to work as soon as possible. We don't need to give Oliver's enemies anymore time to turn things in their favor." Novu said and the kids nodded as they went into the tent and started to work, while the others stayed outside to guard them.

"It's good to see you Barry. Thanks for coming." Oliver said.

"You too. So how about you explain to me what is going on here?" Barry asked.

"The kids are putting together the device that we have been gathering supplies for. We are to guard them, because somehow all of the people that I have fought against on the island are alive and they will come after the device because if it is activated, they will be sent away." Oliver said.

"Ok, that works. What will the device do?" Barry asked.

"Novu said that it will help you, me, and Oliver somehow. He didn't specify." Kara said.

"Well, if it is going to help with the crisis I am all in." Barry said and the others nodded as well.

All of the heroes had been keeping their eyes on the treeline to make sure that no one got a jump on them. Oliver sees movement and he is surprised at who it is that he sees. Walking toward them are Yeo Fei and Shado, both equipped with bow and arrows.

"Wow, it is good to see you two again." Oliver said as he went to hug Shado and shake Yeo Fei's hand.

"Don't get too happy yet. Fyers and his men are right behind up." Shado said and that caused the rest of the team to come up and ready themselves to fight as well.

It didn't take long for Fyers and his men to come out of the trees. All of the archers took aim and started to take out Fyers' people who were guarding him. Barry and Kara went into the woods and started to take out the ones who stayed behind to attack if the others didn't fare well.

"Well, Mr. Queen. You certainly are a better fighter now than you were the last time that I saw you." Fyers said.

"How about I show you how much better I am." Oliver said as he went right for the man as the rest of the team were steadily taking down the rest of Fyers' people.

The fight didn't take long since Fyers always got other people to do his dirty work. Once Fyers was down and the rest of the team had finished off the rest of Fyers' men, the kids walked out of the tent and said that it was done.

Oliver, Kara and Barry all walked inside and Conner said, "The three of you need to turn this on."

They nod and do what they were told. Once the device turned on, all of Fyers' men and he disappeared. The same thing happened to Yeo Fei and Shado. The next thing the three heroes know they feel a power of sorts running through them. They didn't know what was going on, but they did know that this was supposed to happen. Once the device shut itself down they all pulled away from it and walked outside.

As they did this, they looked up at the sky and saw that it had started to turn red. All of the heroes gather as they are all looking at the sky.

"I guess that means that it is time." Oliver said as all of the heroes now had a grime look on their faces.
