HER || YzaCole (SHORT STORY)

C H A P T E R 1

"Thank you." salita niya.

I suddenly blushed and napakagat ng labi saka tinatago yung mukha ko sa kanya. Why I react like this? dahil ba sa boses niya? eh boses lang naman yun pero ang lalim ng boses. Dadag pogi points.

Finally, a bus came. Nauna nako sa kanya and sumunod din sya sa likoran ko. Umupo nako and i flinched when she sat beside me leaving a gap. Tumingin ako sa kanya and her eyes are now closed. Pinagmasdan ko naman sya habang nakapikit sya. Inaral ko ang bawat sulok ng kanyang mukha. I can't deny na she has a nice features. She has a pointed nose, bushy brows, long eyelashes, pinky lips that complemented her overall features. Tunay na pinagpala talaga ni Lord .

I got startled ng bigla niyang minulat ang kanyang mga mata at saka tumingin sa akin na parang nakakaakit pero seryoso. Napakagat lng ako ng labi habang nilalabanan din ang kanang mga mata until I got confused when she laughed a little after. Problema nito?

She sit properly.

"Hi, I'm sorry I didn't even get to introduce myself. I'am Cole." she said smiling and offer her hand to me.

"I'm Yzabel." accepted her hand

"I know." she said after we shake hands

"Paan---" di na tuloy yung sasabihin ko ng pinakita niya yung handkerchief na pinahirap ko sa kanya.

"Oh right, my name on it." sabi ko.

After that it started to be silent.

"Thank you again for the handkerchief, yzabel." sabi niya. wala lang yan, maliit na bagay.

I just smiled at her as an answer.

From then, We talked about random things. Where we were from and where we going. Madami na akong alam tungkol sa kanya dahil sa paguusap namin habang nasa byahe. She's from Practice daw and usually dinadala niya naman ang car niya but nasa talyer, so nag commute nalang sya. I got suprise when she told her age akala ko same lang kami kasi in her look ang mature niya o dahil matangkad lang talaga siya and eto pa same university kami pinapasukan. 3rd year palang sya ngayon. We also had one the same course once in short blockmates but didn't have the chance to know each other. Irregular kasi ako noon, I just take up my last unit na nabagsak ko and super focus ako at sya din siguro kaya We're both not familiar with each other's faces.

Afterwards, Our bus that we riding on got stranded because of the flooding and kailangan namin maghintay para makausad kami sabi samin ng driver. So, Our talk went on and got even deeper. Makapagusap kami parang magkakilala na kami noon. Ang gentle and ang soft spoken lang sya. She also cracks jokes that made me laugh and made people look at us like we were crazy pero we ignore them, wala naman kaming makukuha sa kanila kundi critizism. Mind your own business nalang noh. You are you. We our we so back off. Nagsasaya lang kami.

"I like you Yzabel." She said stripping the smile off my space. My face turn red after she said that. Eto naman ang bilis niya naman ma fall sakin. Ako lang to. I just look at her.

"Did that make me look like a maniac?" dagdag pa niya.

"H-Hindi, no no, literally no. Ano kasi....Ahmm it's just that it came as a surprise." I replied to her. Totoo naman nakakagulat, Ang bilis gusto niya agad ako. Nako talaga Cole, Sinasabi ko sayo, pag ako talaga sobra paako--- okay tama nah mas bata yan sayo yzabel!

"I meant it like, I like your personality and vibes. Gusto kita maging kaibigan, Yzabel." She said with her sweet smile and dimples on the side of it. Cute.

"I like you too, cole" I said smiling back.
