My Son brought forth with Will and Word many Aeons and the First Human. You may think this man was the Adam you read about in scriptures. The true First Human was not the earthly Adam but the Heavenly Adam. This spiritual human existed first and only in our realm and was indeed perfect. Adam was given perfect Intellect and remained with us in the Pleroma.

The emanations continued with each androgynous aeon emanating offspring of their own. The Light from Barbelo and the Perfect Spark of the Son grew dimmer and dimmer with each generation but our abode still continued in this perfect manner for we existed together in this realm, the Pleroma, making it whole.

You may be wondering what exactly I mean when I say emanation. You see, most people can easily understand the concept of Creationism- making something out of nothing or from something else. The Aeons in the Pleroma were not actually "created" in this sense of the word. Emanationism does not involve creating Aeons out of nothing. Instead, the Aeons flowed out of me, and they in turn brought forth new Aeons out of parts of themselves. They all derived from me- the Ultimate First Principle, and so, with each generation, the Light and Power grew dimmer and dimmer. The Aeons that dwelt in the levels below were less perfect than the ones in the level preceding it.
The Pleroma began to grow and the Luminous Waters poured down from my Cosmic Ocean bed to the levels below. The fullness of the Pleroma was preserved through the Law of Balance. And as the Androgynous Ones- the Aeons that dwelt in each level, emanated Aeons of their own, they always adhered to this precise mathematical and spiritual balance in order to preserve the perfect wholeness of our realm. Before bringing forth a new entity, the feminine Aeons, the wombs through which All comes into existence, asked for my Consent. And once my Consent had been received by the feminine, she with the help of her masculine counterpart poured out a new and less perfect entity.

Twelve Aeons of the Pleroma were brought forth in this manner, and in that lowest level, the problem of the Emanations became apparent with the aeon of Wisdom, Sophia.
