Today we worked on blinking, and I was awesome at it. I managed to vanish for a full 4.2 second's, almost breaking the "school"s record. I got a horrible migraine and was really sore afterwards though, so it definitely wasn't worth it.
On our way home, we quickly realized that... wasn't exactly going to work, per se. After all, our camp had been utterly destroyed. So naturally, thanking whomever's up above, we used the next day to set up a new camp a few kilometers away from wherever Exillium had been that day. It was more wild than our old spot, but still in a clearing with trees growing thickly around it for protection. I set to work using the small imparter I had smuggled out of the Lost Cities to call an old friend, who was willing to get us new leaping crystals.
