Little Moments

Maya was currently sitting around the fire pit at the Palm Woods since the boys had invited her to their little song session. 

The boys were currently singing their song, Stuck, and it felt like Kendall was serenading Maya. She knew that couldn't be possible since she was sitting right next to Andrew, her boyfriend. Kendall wouldn't do that. As far as he knew, Maya was head over heels for Andrew and not feeling any sort of romantic feelings for Kendall. Again, as far as Kendall knew. As for Maya, she was confused. It was these little moments between her and Kendall that had her questioning her relationship.

The boys song was interrupted by the sound of a table being dragged. However, when everyone turned to look at the table, it was moving on its own. Once the table made it into the lobby, the doors slammed shut. Everyone ran off screaming, including Maya. She had enough after that, and all she wanted to do was sleep in her own bed. Once she made it out of the Palm Woods, she texted Andrew and Kendall goodnight and was about to get into a cab when she saw her dad walking up to her in his robe and carrying his bag and one of hers as well.

"Dad?" Maya asked, "What are you doing here?"

"The mansion's flooded, so we're staying with the dogs for the night," Gustavo told her.

"No way."

"Why? I thought you'd enjoy a sleepover with your friends."

"The Palm Woods is haunted."

"Maya, come on. Quit playing."

"Dad, I'm serious!" Gustavo walked past her into the Palm Woods, "Dad! I just watched a table move on its own! No one around!"

"Maya, we're staying with the dogs, and it's final. I promise that you'll be fine."

With that, Maya got into the elevator and followed her dad to 2J. Gustavo knocked on the door. When Kendall opened it, Maya saw 4 very confused faces.

"Hey, the mansion is flooded," Gustavo began to explain, "and we need to stay with you dogs tonight."

At that, the boys all grabbed each other and screamed. 

Kendall's mom (Jennifer) and Katie came out of their rooms.

"Why are you screaming like babies?" Katie asked.

Jennifer quickly ushered Maya and Gustavo over to the couch before she went to make Gustavo and Maya some tea. The boys and Katie moved and stood over Gustavo and Maya, silent. Jennifer quickly returned and handed Gustavo and Maya their drinks before sitting down next to Maya.

"Don't you think you'd be more comfortable in, like, a 5 Star hotel that's not here?" Kendall asked Gustavo. Maya chuckled as she realized how much the idea of her and, mainly, her father spending the night in their apartment bothered the boys.

"Yeah, I can't stay at any LA hotels," Gustavo answered.

"Why not?" James asked, angry.

"Well, James, my father is a member of the hotel unwelcome list," Maya explained, "along with Russell Crowe, all the members of Aerosmith, and the original host of Blue's Clues."

Upset, Gustavo threw his tea bag onto the coffee table. 

"The 90s were a wild time, boys," Gustavo said.
