James POV
After detention Evelyn rushed home feeling angry, I only asked her if she likes me why is she having a problem about it.

I drove home being exhausted by the detention I got, I met my mom and asleep Incase you don't know my parents are rich and very influential actors,yes actors.

I tried hard to read but I really couldn't concentrate, though my I was an average student I got tried hard to make it better but I wasn't like Evelyn that girl gets straight A's
"I pick up my phone and read my messages and I saw Mia's messages she was my long time crush and we even wanted to be in a relationship

MIA: James I really need to tell you something
MIA: I like you and I want us to be in a relationship please say yes
MIA: Do you like that nerd Evelyn, she's not your time just so you know

I simply replied with:
Me: Let's talk in school

I really didn't want to have a conversation with Mia cause I don't like her anymore and I liked Evelyn a bit just a little bit, we definitely can't be a couple because she doesn't like me.

Evelyn's mum
Evelyn's dad came back to the house and simply threatened me that he'll take Evelyn by all cause even if it is to kidnap her.

And I really don't want to leave her because she's the only one that keeps me alive and I definitely won't loose her to that drunkard called her father

"Evelyn came back home and met me crying but I couldn't explain what was really going on"

She asked me what was wrong and I told her that I was missing your dad and that was all was wrong with me she didn't believe me but what could I do.

We have no other choice than to relocate to another city and If you ask me I don't think I'm ready for that. I simply prayed to God to help me

Evelyn's POV
I saw my mum in a devastated mood and I asked her what was wrong and gave me this excuse that she was missing my dad and she really thought I was buying it.

I didn't know my dad to being a good man because he divorced my mum when I was 2, my mum told me stories of how he was a drunkard and how he brought it in so many ladies home

"I got to my bedroom, and picked up my phone and scrolled through my  messages"
I saw a message from my bestie ava asking me how the detention went.

When I read it I remembered how James annoyed me and then I got angry.
I've had this small crush on James since I came to highschool

He was extremely cute and everyone would want to talk to him or be around him until I heard a rumor that he was dating Mia then all the emotions went.

I scrolled through my phone before sleeping and I saw a weird message from Standford high school heart breaker Henry, though he's cute but changes girlfriends like clothes

Henry:I like you Evelyn please date me🥺
