chapter 3 trial

as i woke up i put my hand on my head and slowly got i couldn't see anything around me because how blurry my eyes were "wait whats today...." i said looking over at my calendar "WAIT ITS THE 5TH" as i said that i jumped up and threw on my uniform on and ran out the door to ren's house 

as i got to the house i saw ren and his dad argue "father i promise i will make something out of myself you don't have t-" "SHUT UP YOU IDIOT! all you do is try to be something you're not just like your mother" "ill be on my way now by father i will visit soon" and with that rengoku turned around and noticed me "oh hi flame" he said raising his arm while walking towards me "oh hi" i said looking up at him

he grew a lot since the first time i saw him i mean when we first met we were basically the same height but now he is about a foot taller which is crazy 

as we started to walk to the demon slayer corps trail i saw a bunch of cherry blossom trees it was like the ones at our old middle school "hey look ren" i said pointing at the trees "don't they look like the ones at our old middle school?" as i said that i saw a smile grow on his face "they do" as he said that he began to walk to them and pluck a few petals from the tree "what are you doing" i said looking over at him "you will see" he said with a big grin on his handsome face 

as he turned around i saw he had twisted them together like a flower. as he began to walk to me i felt my heart skip a beat. he began to pulled back my hair and place the petals behind my ear  "there you look so much more beautiful with your hair out your face" as he said that i felt my face turn bright red "t-thank you so much" i said choking on my words 

when we finally got to the trial it was about dark "huh where is everyone?" i said looking around and back to ren "hmm i don't know maybe we are early" he said with a bright smile "i doubt that" i said looking down 

"hello there" i heard a voice say. as i looked back i saw 2 girls one with black hair and the other with white hair "hello there my name is rengoku and this is my friend y/n!" rengoku  exclaimed "yeah" i said while getting closer to ren "well rengoku and y/n may you please follow us" they said walking off "yeah sure" i said while holding ren's hand 

as we followed them we began to hear the rest of the people "oh wow there are so many people" i said looking up at ren "there sure is" said ren 

when we met up with the rest of the kids we heard a loud band "now that we have all our future demon slayers we will begin the trial" the strange girls said with a creepy tone in their voices "you heard that flame? i guess that means we head off in the woods with our swords" ren said while looking down at me " Yeah I guess"
