rengoku pov

as the sky got dark and the air went cold  i feel y/n's warm hand grasp mine "it will be fine" i say with a big smile trying to reassure her "something is here i feel it" she said as she placed her other hand on my chest "are you sure?" i say looking down at her soft delicate face "i'm positive" she said with a shake in her soft voice "alright then" i say looking around slowly 

  as i look to my right i hear a bush shake behind me and y/n but before i could even move i felt y/n leave my grasp "HELP RENGOKU!" i hear y/n yell as she is carried away "FLAME!" is all i could say before i took off running with speeds i never have gone "I'LL SAVE YOU!" is all that could process in my head

every second i could feel my legs going  faster and faster. by the time i reached y/n and the demon we was in the middle of the woods lost "why do so much for this pathetic weakling?" the demon said while dangling y/n in the air by one arm "she's not pathetic nor weak she is the strongest person i know" i say gripping harder on my sword "oh yeah?" he says in a sarcastic way "she can stay calm and humble even if the world was burning down around her. she is not like anything i have ever seen. she is a beautiful person and you will regret insulting her like that!" i say with my head up high 

as he looked down at y/n i took the first swing "flame breathing 9th form" as i said that i beheaded the demon  in one swing 

"y/n are you okay?!?!" is all i can say "yes i'm alright but are you" she said running up to me with her soft voice that made me forget how much energy i used "i'm just fine flame" i say looking up at her while she helps me up "thank you flame" i say as she pick me up "no thank you. this is the last time i'm letting you save my butt" she said with a pout "okay okay i'll let you kill the next demon. speak of the devil there is one right there!" i say pointing at the slowest one "do you think I can't kill anything bigger than that?" she said looking at me with a blank face "i-i never said that flame" i said scratching the back of my head and smiling like an idiot "yeah sure" she said while giggling 

as she ran to the demon i saw her whole mood changed. she looked so angelic as she went into her pose to get ready to swing her h/c h/l swaying in the air made her seem like an angel. with one quick swing she beheaded the demon like it was nothing "that was amazing y/n!!!" i cheered to get her attention "thank you ren it was nothing special" she said covering her face with her h/l hair "we only got to stay here for a few more hours" i said grabbing my sword from the ground "don't we have to stay here till morning?" she asked as she helped me up "yep i know we can do it!" i said as i patted her on her small head
