"It's better if you live here."

That's the first words that the old man had said to his beloved grandson after not seeing each other for over a month now.

"B-But Grandpa!"

(Y/n) stared at the screen with widened eyes, not expecting to hear such a thing from his grandfather. This is the first time that his grandfather didn't just brush the problem off like it is nothing.

But, although surprised, (Y/n) do understand why his grandfather is acting like this.

"You must understand (Y/n), what just happened is a much bigger issue than the previous ones."

"I know.. grandpa.."

"Your father is no good at all. It'll be better if I raise you myself."

"But, I can't leave.."

Not yet.. At least not until he found her. (Y/n) had bitten his inner bottom lip, he can't leave Japan right now but, (Y/n) couldn't tell his reason to his grandfather.

"..(Y/n)." Seeing the expression of the young man, the old man couldn't help but soften his tone. "You know I'm only doing this for your own sake, right?"

"I'm sorry.. I really don't want to leave right now. Just not now..."

He has been making a scene, causing troubles all around the place but (Y/n) despite knowing that those might cause a backlash, still did it.

It's all for making his name spread in the hope that it finds its way to his missing mother.

"...Alright, you can stay." The old man then continued. "But, if you don't get your life together, I wouldn't have any choice but to forcefully send you here."

(Y/n) was quiet for a few seconds. He has no choice, that is better than being sent abroad and having zero chance of finding his mother. "I understand.."

"Then, It's better if you study somewhere in the meantime until the issue gets completely solved." As if thinking, the old man paused and search for something in the drawer under his computer.

"Hm this should be good." The old man appeared again on the screen with a folder in his hand. "I recently donated to this school located deep in the mountains. Since it's an all-boys school, it'll help you avoid romantic trouble with women. I'll contact them and arrange your enrollment for next school year."

(Y/n) eyebrow flinched at the mention of women. It's not like he hates them it's just, if you make him choose between bedding a female and bedding a male, he'll choose to corner the male.

"...Thank you, Grandpa."

But his grandfather wasn't informed of his grandson's orientation and (Y/n)'s actions with women around him will make everyone think that he is either a straight boy or someone who swings in both ways.

Unfortunately, his grandfather even arranged a fiance for him, in the hope he'll be the one to succeed him in the future.

"What are you doing here?" Another morning came, and the thing that greet (Y/n) was someone he despise.

"You think I want to come?"

A silent war between (Y/n) and his cousin had started to spark after (Y/n) found him sitting in the living room.

Both of them don't actually despise each other, but the two had unconsciously made that their way of bonding. And even after the two noticed that, they couldn't help but just continue to have a hollow fight every time they meet.

"Ehem, I called him."

(Y/n)'s father exited the kitchen with a fake cough. His useless father of him had offered him some 'help' to get his life together.

"While you're still here, Kira will show you how to become a true student."

"...Okay."

(Y/n) didn't think much of it and just let the man meddle in his business. Little did he know, he'll soon regret such a decision in his life.
