TRIGGER WARNING FOR STABBING!

Lin's journey was nearing it's close, but he had some floors of the lab to go through first. Soon he'd be free from this place. It'd be hard to say goodbye to Puro but freedom would soon be his. But soon the two were hit with a roadblock; there was a fork in the road.

"Hm.." Puro thought. "How about we split up? I can take the left and you can take the right?" He suggested. They both nodded in agreement.

So the two split up. He ended up going through a long hallway that was connected to some empty rooms. He made sure to check each of them just in case they had something important in them but nothing was found. But he suddenly made a strange realization, that he hasn't seen any wild latex creatures for a while.

At the end of the hallway was a door that required a keycard. With some minimal backtracking he found a card inside a book. With a single swipe it opened the door and he was on his way. But as soon as he entered the room the door furiously closed. He tried the keycard but it didn't work. He tried budging the door, but it didn't work. Even the door up ahead was closed.

In the distance he could hear laughing. He looked around for the source of the noise before seeing a girl about his age standing against the wall. She had long blonde hair and green eyes that gave a hypnotizing effect. She sported a lab coat and a traffic cone upon her head as some sort of hat. In that moment it felt as if intense music starting playing.

Lin stepped back only to feel something touch his leg. He looked back to see a traffic cone that turned into a latex creature. Another traffic cone next to it turned into a similar creature. These were clearly connected to her in some way. He began to run around the room as the pups started to get tired out and eventually turn back into cones.

He looked back to see the girl angry. She pulled out a gun and shot at him, him just barley managing to dodge it. Looking at where the bullet landed it wasn't an actual bullet but some of the white latex goo.

This time some more of the traffic cone creatures showed themselves except they were nearly as tall as him. But he just did his same trick of running until they got tired, it just took longer this time. He tried to stop to take a breathe but another shot was fired at him that he nearly dodged. What was this lady's problem?

Now both a combination of the pup latex creatures and more grown ones started chasing him. Lin was just barley able to escape them. He wondered when this would stop, when could he leave? When could he leave this entire building and finally see the outside world?

Meanwhile Puro was still wandering until he found a dead end. He heard the bang of the gun and perked his ears up. While starting to head back he heard yet another bang, so he started to run. His friend might be in danger from whatever the bang was coming from.

A final shot was fired at him that he managed to dodge. The woman looked furious. "WHY WONT YOU JUST LET ME SHOOT YOU?'" she yelled.

She started to come towards him, him backing away until he was cornered. She pressed a button on her gun which made a knife come out of the handle. Lin put his hands up in a desperate attempt in defense. He could hear the door banging, and hoped that he would be saved as she started to raise her knife.

But as he closed his eyes nothing hit him. He opened them to see that instead of stabbing him the girl stabbed herself. He backed away, staring at her corpse that was oddly smiling. The door barged open and he was greeted by Puro who looked as shocked as he was at this sight.

"Another human.. But I'm pretty sure she's dead." he remarks.

He tells him what happened and he nods along. They end up leaving but not before they look back at her lifeless body. Maybe it was possible to save her, but that's not in their priority right now. So the two wondered off.
