Ayden :

It took a long time for Jade to heal. She was already shot once, so when she got shot again, it was a bit complicated.

Her aunt told her everything: everything about her past, how we were connected, her real name and everything. It took her a long time to get into it. But she accepted the fact. She changed her name to Jade Black.

It's been a month since. I haven't gone to school this month. Not only me, Jade too. She is staying with her aunt at her apartment. I used to visit her every day since I healed. But for her, she couldn't even move because of her aunt. Her aunt followed her everywhere; she hadn't let her go anywhere. She's been at home, no more like her room these days. Her aunt wouldn't let her go out of her room.

I didn't need to have a bodyguard anymore. I feel so free now. Well, honestly, I'm a bit sad about not having Jade at my side. I'm missing her so much, even though I see her every day.

"Aiden" called jade, returning me to reality. I'm here in her room. I have come to see her.

"Yes"

"What're you thinking?"

"Nothing" I say. "Can I ask you something?"

"Mm"

"The first day you came to our home, you pointed a gun at me. Would you have killed me? Where did you get that? " I asked out of curiosity.

"No, I wouldn't have killed you."

"Why?"

"Because that was an empty gun," she says, grinning.

"Empty"

"Yes it is, your dad gave me that gun without bullets," she says.

"You scared me out of my life," I said, clutching my heart.

"I know, I loved the way you looked!" She said, and she started laughing.

Okay, let's get started.

"Jade"

She stops laughing, clutching her stomach. "Yes"

"I love you," I say. She looked struck.

"I love you so much, Jade. , you have my heart. Please don't ever break it. I love you so much that sometimes I can't think of anything else in this world. "

Her eyes started watering. She ran to me and hugged me. "I love you too, Aiden." We stood like that for a moment, then she broke away from me, clutching my jacket. "Are you happy, AD?" she asks.

"How-"

I remember Aiden, AD. That was what I used to call you, wasn't it?"
