Explanation

A lot of people were confused by Arthur's actions so let me explain to the best of my ability. Sorry if it was confusing I'm still new to writing...

Arthur threw away all of his war efforts into bringing his family to Alacrya so they can be safe and live a normal life away from the war.

However, Agrona manipulated his family into hating Arthur by putting them into horrendous living conditions and treatment.

Arthur felt betrayed by his family because he didn't know what he did wrong. Everything he ever cared for in his new life. Everything he every loved and tried to achieve backfired back onto him. He was hurt so bad that his literal heart shattered and never healed.

This feeling of betrayal got manipulated by Sylvia into feeling resentment towards Dicathen as a whole not just his parents.

Now Arthur uses that feeling of resentment as mere justification for his actions.

Is his hatred justified or is it all just Agrona's plan?

Sorry for any misunderstandings and thank you for reading my fanfiction!!!

"Nooooo, you can't keep me here any longer! I have to go save them!" I screamed at the top of my lungs.

"You cannot" said the robotic woman.

"Why is that! I could save him, I could turn him back!"

"How would you do that? Grey has increased in strength 10 fold and Agrona's control over him is unprecedented. It is like he planned it all from the beginning."

"ITS ARTHUR, not Grey. I don't even know why he went by that stupid name. It ruined everything." I rolled up and started to cry.

"Right now you cannot face him. Get stronger so you can hold your head high. Our time is running out. We cannot stay here forever."

"Yeah yeah" I muttered under my breath.

This...Grey. Just who is he...

I thought as I was walking towards Scythe Seris's quarters. She told me that this talk would effect me the most so I had to steel myself. But I just couldn't get my mind of Grey. His facial features, his maturity...his power. All of it had drawn me in. Every heavy step I took my breaths seemed to get shorter and shorter.

Eventually I arrived at Seris's door and walked in.

"Greetings, child. I have some unfortunate news I have to tell you."

"I understand Scythe Seris." I said, my tone level.

"I have to turn you in."

What-

"Let me explain. For the years ever since you have manifested your Vritra blood I have always took risks to protect you. Now however, my plans have turned sideways and I can no longer provide you the support you need. Because of this, for your sake and for mine, you need to reveal your Vritra blood manifestation."

All of this information came down like rolling thunder.

I always thought I would be safe from the treachery Scythe Seris told me was Agrona.

But now-

"I will still try to protect you to the best of my abilities, but we cannot keep going like this...forgive me."
