Chapter 5

After the separation between the four friends or crush in Jaune and Mina's cases. The next day, our blonde fellow had heard from his homeroom teacher that Mina has indeed left to Korea for "business". He was honestly happy to hear that Mina is dead on serious about achieving her dream of an idol and will give his full support for her. He is currently sitting in his English class just zoning out his teacher thinking about something else. He exhaled glancing at the clock hanging on the wall above the white board and watched as the clock begins to tick down. He played with his pen as he was wait anxiously for lunchtime. Luckily, he doesn't have to wait anymore because the school bell rings marking the end of English class

Teacher: Alright class, be sure to complete this assignment by the day after tomorrow

With that declaration, everyone begins to packed their stuffs with Jaune being the first to get out. He skids slightly in the halls before sprinting down. There were people along the halls by the lockers which Jaune dodge them. Some students tried to called him out to the teachers but they just watched knowing what the reason is. While running, two more people join along side him which were revealed to be Y/N and Khaizul. When they are near the main door, a group of people blocked the entrance causing them to skip into a halt. The group that blocked the entrance are revealed to be the football team AKA Frank and his jocks

Frank: Look at this fellas. The group of four that always stuck together. Oh, wait, it becomes a group of three because one of them left

Frank and his lackeys laughs seemingly trying to spite him after knowing that Mina left the group probably of bad reasons. But their laughter stopped once they heard Jaune and his brothers laughing

You: Man! I didn't know jocks like you can do jokes!

Khaizul: A terrible one at that...

Frank who obviously was angered by the mockery and march forward grabbing Jaune who was still laughing

Frank: You think this is funny? Oh, I get it. You're trying to fake laughter to hide your pain of losing your girlfriend, am I right?

He smirk slightly but was cut short by Jaune mocking him by laughing at his face

Jaune: Hahaha... That was real laughter my man. And also you got it wrong

He removed himself from the jock's grip

Jaune: What happened between us and Mina has no concern over you. Unlike the cheerleaders who are probably your temporary girlfriends, Mina ain't someone who goes after popularity

Jaune said as he fixes his collar and snickering at the end causing Frank to be more agitated

Jaune: Frank, you have to understand that your popularity in this highschool won't get you anywhere, and you wanna know why?

He pads his shoulder with a smirk

Jaune: You don't have the skills to be in the big leagues. After graduating from highschool, which will probably take a few more years considering how dumb you are, you ain't going anywhere. You acted like you and your dumbass friends are some big shots by being big and all but in reality, you're just insecure about being look down upon by people like us

With every word that came out of Jaune's mouth angered Frank and his goons who are all clenching their fist ready to beat Jaune up

Frank: Hah! You sound like you have a death wish or something. Want to be six feet under?

Him and his goons were so ready to beat these nerds. However, even looking menacingly were met with laughter from Jaune and his brothers

You: You're all just a bunch of downgraded gorillas. You're all muscle but no brain
