Worried - Jay halstead ⚠️

Imagine: jays wife getting a call about an accident with Jay though none of the intelligence know about her

When she got the call, Allison felt her heart drop from her chest. She knew that with the job Jay has this was something that's was likely to happen but she couldn't believe that it was actually happening

The words of when she found out ran through her head over and over

'Jay has been shot. It's not looking good'

That was all it took for her to break down. She felt like everything was coming down around her and she couldn't stop it

She didn't waste any time though and grabbed her keys before running out the house

Once she got to the hospital. She rushed to the counter trying to find someone who would point her to where Jay was

"Uh- is J-Jay Halstead here?" the woman at the desk didn't have a chance to answer as voight came up to her

"Allison" he said taking her arm.
"Follow me" she nodded and walked behind him to the waiting room

"How is he Voight?" She asked with a quiet voice. He wanted to lie and tell her everything was alright but he couldn't

"He's in critical condition" she sobbed not needing him to carry on and he brought her into a hug
"We're sure he'll push through. He's a fighter. He'll be okay" he held her at arms length and nodded though tears were still violently falling down her face

"What happened?" Trudy walked up to the pair also hugging her. She had saw how Allison reacted whilst she was sat with the rest of the intelligence unit

They were all confused on this girl that they had never seen before, well except Trudy. She seemed to know who the mystery girl was. They knew most of jays family so she couldn't be that

"He was caught in a crossfire between 2 gangs. They're locked up now" Trudy said to her

"I told him to be careful" Allison hiccuped

"Who are you?" She heard a voice and turned to see one of the people sitting down asking her

"This is Allison Halstead. Jays wife" their eyes all simulatniouly widened

They don't know how they didn't figure it out before. Just by looking at her they could see the amount of love she held for their friend

Allison had stayed the 2 nights in the hospital waiting for Jay to wake up from his coma. The doctors had said he was going to be alright but she couldn't bring herself to be away from the hospital unless it was to shower or change her clothes

The intelligence unit have been there as much as they could but no matter who was there they would always notice that Allison was too. They would try and get her to eat or drink something but she couldn't, her worry making her unable to do anything

They would always have go up to her, making small talk and wondering how she was and she would do her best to answer though she didn't feel up to talking

They liked her though, they knew she must love him just by the amount she was worried for him

"He's awake" Will Halstead smiled as he walked out of the room grabbing everyone's attention
"Allison, he's asking for you" Will smiled at his sister in law. She sent him a small smile before she got up and walked into the room

"Jay" she breathed a sigh of relief once she knew for herself he was okay

"Babe" he smiled. She walked over to him and once she got close she lifted her hand and slapped him, his head moving to the side slightly

She broke out into sobs straight after and he held her in his embrace tightly as she cried

"You said you was going to be careful you idiot" she sobbed

"I'm sorry" he murmured. He reached his hands up and wove them through her hair
"I tried. I promise you" she nodded and pulled away, placing her hand on his cheek

"I know, i know babe. I was just worried" she leaned in pressing her lips to his

"So when we're you going to tell us you were married?" the pair both turned to the intelligence unit who was standing at the door

Jay laughed and laced his hands with Allison's

"I wanted to keep her a secret. For her safety"

"Yeah, well how comes Trudy and Voight knew?"

"Because we're amazing" Trudy smiled shrugging. They all laughed

"I'm glad you all get to meet her now though. You get to meet the most important female in my life"
