"WELL, I'LL BE DAMNED" MILENA SMILED WHEN SHE HEARD Trudy's shocked voice and walked right up to the desk. "If it isn't Milena Voight in my police district" the younger girl shook her head, a teasing smile replacing her normal one.
"Come on Trudy, you know my names not Voight. It's Milena Woods" Trudy raised an eyebrow in acknowledgement.
"And.. whose fault is that?" Lena shrugged her shoulders sheepishly in reply knowing her lack of name change was in fact her own fault, having a job overseas, away from your boyfriend would put a marriage halt on any relationship. But Lena didn't mind. Both her and Voight are work driven, loving what they do and their relationship still progressed and blossomed as they days passed even without saying the words 'I do', because both of them knew it. "Does he know you're here?" Before Lena could answer Trudy picked up the phone ready to call upstairs, only to be met with a hand on her own. Her eyes glanced back to the younger Agent who stopped her before Lena shook her head.
"It's a surprise" although she tried, Trudy couldn't help but smile as she slowly lowered the phone down and nodded up to the stairs urging Lena to go up there. With one thankful look she skipped up the steps, opening the gate Trudy opened for her.
As soon as she was up she caught the attention of the team and Jay who was quick with his words spoke first.
"Are you supposed to be up here?"
"Oh, hi Jay" jays eyes widened, his body freezing as he didn't recognise the girl in front of him but she knew him by name. His mouth opened to speak but no words left as she turned away from him and glanced over to the blonde haired detective.
Of course Milena knew who Jay Halstead was, if it wasn't Hank talking about his team 24/7 it was Erin giving an update on her life and a certain detective who always came up in her daily routine. Of course she didn't think too much of it until Erin's smiles became more and more wider and smitten whenever his name was mentioned.
"Oh my gosh" Lindsay laughed as she got up and Lena didn't hesitate before rushing into her arms. "What the hell are you doing back in town?"
"I'll tell you about it in a minute, where's-"
"You looking for me?" Lena chuckled and turned to see Alvin standing right behind her and she pulled him into a hug. Being a friend of Voight's Lena knew Alvin like they had been childhood friends though she hadn't met him that long ago. He was always there for Voight, sometimes when Lena wasn't physically able to herself and she loved him for that.
