Chapter 2
AMERICA MID DAY
Mary yawns as she looked around the hotel room she and her friends had claimed. It was a big room with two queen-sized beds, a shower and bathroom, and a big TV all in one room. Halie was just glad that Dudley was in another room, he had tried to act up and bully her but the teacher stepped in and separated them making Dudley mad and stomping off with his friends.
Bethany was brushing her hair at the moment while talking to Halie. Sally was busy unpacking her stuff, and Mary herself was tired from the flight. Jet lag was not fun! She was wasn't used to it, maybe she could take a nap?
Yawning once more she asks "Anyone got candy? I need the sugar,"
She flopped down on her shared bed with Sally, Halie was sharing with Bethany, thanks to sleepovers when they could get them the girls were used to sharing beds.
"I have some!" Sally jumped on the bed handing her friend a few sweets.
Mary took them with a nod saying "Thanks Sally,"
As Mary ate her candy Halie asked "So, what do you think the factory looks like?"
She looked at her friends, who shrugged unsure of the factory themselves.
"I heard it is huge, they do make a lot of robots after all," Bethany said making Sally nod as she put some of her clothing on her side of the bed.
KNOCK! KNOCK!
The four girls tensed up at the knocking, Bethany got up and ran to the door she quickly peeked through the keyhole, she then relaxed and smiled.
She then pulled back saying "Friendlies!"
The group relaxed as the door opens to show 8 girls.
The first girl was 17 years old with dark brown hair and ice-blue eyes, she had on a brown long-sleeved top with blue jeans and black shoes. This was Amanda she was Bethany's pen pal.
The second girl was 16 years old but she had black hair held in a ponytail with bluish-green eyes, she had on a dark purple top with grey pants and brown shoes. This was Lisa she was Halie's pen pal and older sister figure.
The third girl was also 17 years old with light blonde hair and chocolate brown eyes, she had on a yellow top with blue jeans and pink shoes. This was Cynthia she was Sally's cousin in America.
