"so basically he hates you?" Mark wiped his tears from laughing about it nonstop "that's understandable"

Jeno glared at him "aren't you supposed to be on my side?"

"I'm just surprised why you're taking this too seriously while you can fire him immediately like you always do?" Mark suggested. Gosh he should really stop sharing his suggestions

right.

some of his past secretaries even plotted a revenge at him in christmas eve. Sending him a box full of letters torn apart threatening to kill him but he ignored it anyway not really caring if he'll die in the moment

speaking of revenge.

Jeno randomly smiled out of nowhere while looking at mark's direction "I'm a genius"

Mark scooted away for him getting chills "what is it? you're scaring the hell out of me"

"do you think it's weird?" Donghyuck sipped his coffee noticing the CEO glaring his eyes at his secretary

Jaemin hummed "what do you mean?"

Donghyuck squints his eyes while slurping the hot tea "ceo lee keeps glaring at you it's getting creepy" Donghyuck nervously giggled glancing back at jaemin

not really expecting anything he thought the other was just joking "why would he gla—" jaemin turned his head back seeing a sight of  jeno giving him intense eye contact as if he's plotting a murder in his head and don't forget the dramatic zooming and sound effects towards him

turned his head back to the other secretary. He smiled linking his arms with Jaemin. "should we get some lunch?" changing the topic to escape

"but it's 3 o clock in the afternoo—"  Donghyuck didn't get to finished his sentence since he was dragged with him

Jaemin sighed in relief while he strengthen his arms "finally I'm done with all this work" he checked the clock on the wall checking if the time. "30 minutes left!" he excitedly yelled in lowercase

a loud bang on his desk causing him to fling. He looks at him and and looked at a ton of paper work looking back at him again and look backed at the documents

then a sight of his boss with arms crossed trying to hide his smile

Jaemin was still confused with all of the documents and files plastered on his desk "not to be rude or something but may I ask what's all of this about" jaemin pointed

"what do you mean? you still have 30 Minutes left might as well put a use of it" jeno said while trying to make his secretary annoyed and it worked "Make sure all of this" he placed another stack of file before he continues

"—is done tomorrow" he bent over  near Jaemin's face

Jaemin gulped as he nodded leaving with no choice. There's no way he can complete all of this in a day without pulling an all nighter

Jeno walked away grinning , succeeding his mission "I could have done so much more than that but who cares" he muttered to himself and that's what you get when you carelessly get too honest  while being drunk.

jaemin sat back on his seat defeated "Did I say something  wrong when I was drunk?" He tilted his head still trying to remember what mess he has done "but I do remember that weird ass dream where I was on children's playground pintching his cheeks and—" wait. it felt too real

what if it wasn't a dream?

Jaemin yawned trying not to doze over on his chair. Apparently he's working overtime but he cannot complain , it's his job.

sloutch back to his chair , he sighed as he stares up into the time "10 pm already?!" rubbing his eyes and widened his eyes and took a closer look at the clock

"wasn't I supposed to leave from work at five pm?" he sarcasticingly laughed "more like five in the morning"  Jaemin ruffled his hair out of tiredness

but at some point he wanted to go to the bathroom to splash some water on his face

he stood up slowly going to the nearest restroom on the office floor with his phone flash on since the lights were off , too lazy to go turn it on.

he stopped his tracks and look back. "was that a person?"

Jaemin swore he pass through a person but who in the world would just stand there with the lights off? it could be ghost or maybe it's just a intruder

Jaemin paused for a second. "wait a intruder?" he mumbled "shit" starting to walk on a fast pace and the sound of footsteps gets louder and nearer to him.

he immediately went inside one of the bathroom stalls and covered his mouth preventing noises he could make

the person who was following him spoked and the voice was oddly familiar

it echoed around the restroom "was that a employee" the owner of the voice said confusingly "I'm certain I saw a person and they are hiding behind one of this bathroom doors" the man looked at himself in the mirror loosening his tie

"whoever you are please come out" he said calmly and it's even more threatening

Jaemin tightened his palms to his mouth after realizing who the person was. It was Lee Jeno. Didn't he left earlier today? saw him leaving the office after he handed our him the documents but I guess he had forgotten to bring something important causing him to come back at this hour

but his dumbass decided to take a peak at the CEO checking if he was gone instead his face was close to him like a jumpscare

"WHAT THE FU—" jaemin fell down on the toilet seats in total fear
