"thank you for the lunch!" Jaemin  bowed down as a sign of respect before leaving with him. They were both awkward with each other because of what happened last night well not in the kind of way—

forget it , Jaemin erased his thoughts that sounded so dirty for some reason

both of them were still holding hands to make it seem like they are an actual couple well atleast it lasted. When they got further from the restaurant jaemin tried to pull away from  holding hands but the male was holding his hand tightly without noticing it , he kept on walking on a average pace

how am I going to say this "oh..um jeno your hand" he lets out a awkward chuckle after jeno stared into him , clueless

once again jaemin's heart started to beat fast while his cheeks slowly turning into a light shade of pink. Glad he wore a little bit of the same shade of pink blush or it would have been obvious

jeno wanted to slap himself for it "oh right , I'm sorry" he quickly pulled away his hands putting it back on his pocket after that it went silent

the car was parked across the road the pedestrian was a little far away so he carelessly crossed the road without looking at both sides

a car on full speed was going nearer and nearer towards his direction yet Jaemin didn't hear it coming. Jeno tried to call his name but his thoughts was in the other side of the world

jeno muttered under his breath "shit" knowing the car was getting closer he ran towards him and drag his arm causing jaemin to fall over on his chest before the car could even hit him

jaemin breath stopped not knowing what was going on since the CEO didn't say anything for three minutes straight and he was just hugging him tightly too

he blinked twice "jeno are we going to go now or n—" pulling away from the hug but instead he was cut off with jeno hugged him tightly not planning of letting go

his breathe hitched "watch where you going will you?" he worriedly said in monotone

"wait. I can't breat—" once again he was cut off

"you almost died for god's sake!" jeno didn't say it in a aggressive way but he said it in a worried but calm tone. Pulling away from the hug he looks directly into jaemin's's who was wandering in confusion

jeno didn't know what to say in this situation where he was just a second away from death yet he was more focused how his feelings for the male came back. It felt like his admiration for him but he was wrong. His feelings never stopped he was just gaslighting himself that it was a small crush and he had move on. But all of this "couple" act is making him delusional it felt real

the more he stares into his eyes , he never fails to make his heart to flutter. Call him dramatic , he'll admit yes he has a crush on him but it's not like it'll change anything

letting go from the hug but instead he tripped over him again but this time it wasn't his chest it was his lips. Both of them were frozen for a minute not knowing what to do and panicking mentally

their lips were collided

the he asked himself again was he falling Inlove again the best choice or was he falling Inlove again too easily the best choice?

Mark covered his mouth with his palm along with a dramatic gasp "YOU KISSED SOMEONE?!" the older shouted almost bursting his eardrums

"I don't think it really was a kiss though" jeno puckered his lips "he accidentally slipped and when caught him he landed on my lips" he hummed in question "is a peck considered a kiss?"

mark furrowed his brows in confusion. "He? you kissed a boy? I thought you were with your secretary" woah he never thought his one and only friend would be gay like him

jeno blinked his eyes twice "We work in the same building yet you didn't know who my secretary was? Mark...both our office are literally on the same floor"

"I don't really leave my office it's like my bedroom but that's not what's important now" mark looks at him who was just sitting on his sofa comfortably as if it was his "but did your HE pretended as your girlfriend? How in the world—"

"he dressed up as a girl and he's pretty good at it so I don't mind" jeno shrugged

while Mark here still confuse as hell "lemme get this straight" starting it off with random hand gestures "your enemy from highschool suddenly was your new secretary who was hired from your mother and you took my random idea  of having a fake girlfriend to cancel off your engagement with a woman and you convinced your secretary to pretend as your girlfriend and agreed to be in a contract relationship?" well that's the whole plot...

"that's basically the scenerio" jeno nodded

the canadian clasped his hands together forming a "o" on his mouth "I actually feel bad for your secretary"

"Why? he's getting paid anyway" he huffed. It's not like he forced him , the male chose to sign the contract

"Imagine how tiring it'll to be? he has work on the weekdays and also work on the weekends since he gotta join your family gatherings not to mention most of the time he works overtime"

his ear then twitched "how did you know he works overtime?"

"Oh my secretary donghyuck just told me not so long ago and also what's secretary na's full name?"

"Na Jaemin"

"Na Jaemin?!" Mark raised his voice causing jeno to jump on spot

"Why are you surprised , do you know him or something?" he jokingly said

the Canadian male blinked two times "of course we were classmates in college!"

hus smiled dropped in a matter of seconds. Oh so they were classmates "are you close with him?" he was already glaring at his friend not even noticing it

mark got shivers down his spine seeing his friend glaring at him as if he did something wrong "not really but he was a great student. He was kind with everyone"

the word kind with Jaemin almost made him laugh a little. He thought atleast he knew Jaemin first though

...why does that even matter?

but knowing they weren't really close his mood changed "Mark do you want some pizza?" He smiled at his friend who was scared how his mood changed quickly
