"are you seriously going to the company dinner?" Jaemin said as they walk towards the place

It was a mere company dinner. Of course Jeno was invited because he's the ceo. But even with the invitation he never comes to one of the celebrations unless his mother tells him to.

"It's a good excuse for me to be with you" Jeno showed a sheepish smile , linking their arms together

Jaemin scoffed looking at the ceo being clingy towards him

Bells ringing on top of the door as they enter. He furrowed his brows confuse why the area was so dark. All lights were off

Did he went to the wrong address? He reached his phone on his pocket checking the address again but he was certain that this was the right place

"I think we went to the wrong place" Jeno said looking towards his direction. Both of them were still holding hands

Jaemin shook his head from left to right and glanced back at the sight "It's the right location!" pointing at his phone

"What's the time?"

"the party starts at seven in the evening and it is literally seven o five"

"Maybe they meant seven in the morning?" Jeno stated making it sure the younger didn't misread the invitation card

"who in the right mind starts a party at seven in the morning?" Jaemin blinked twice while giving his boyfriend a look

Jeno raised his shoulders "forget it. How about we go have some fun somewhere else?" he leaned on the door frame in a seducing way making the younger step back

"What do you mean—" he was cut off with a large sound from a confetti pop causing the two of them to stumble towards each other

Jeno's hands was caught up to his waist

"CONGRATULATIONS!" Donghyuck and the other workers exclaimed while having a party hat on and a cake on his hands

Confetti was scattered everywhere while the crowd inside the room stood there in shock. You can even here the loud gasps

The banner on the wall that said "Congratulations" fell on one of the sides

Everyone was wearing party hats in different kind of colors and patterns

Since everybody inside the company knew about their relationship but they just kept it as a secret to not invade their ceo's private life they just participated Donghyuck's idea

Jaemin quickly reacted and moved further away from him , despite being the center of attention he didn't run away even if his mind was telling him to

"How romantic!" one of the employees squealed

Donghyuck approached the secretary while he handed out the cake he on his hands. signaling to blow the candle "Come on blow it out"

both Jaemin and Jeno froze on their spot confuse what was happening

Before Jaemin could blow out the candle he glanced at Jeno who was equally still wondering if this was a fever dream

as he blows out the candle , claps were heard and people shouting out congratulations and hoping the best for them

"What a great way to start party!" the Canadian male nudged at the ceo that jumped in spot by his presence

"I knew I can count on you Jaemin! you can win a Oscar at this point" Donghyuck patted on Jaemin's's back proud that their plan went as they planned

Jeno gasped and gaze up to him looking betrayed "You knew?!"

Jaemin only mumbled a sorry along , giving him a soft smile after. Thought that drama club was useless in highschool , he never knew it can help him through out his adult life

"knock knock"

"Who's there?" Donghyuck replied almost dozing off on his seat but atleast he got his boyfriend as an back up

"Hawaii"

"Hawaii , who?"

"I'm fine thank you" Jaemin said after drinking another glass of alcohol which was his 12th glass. Hope he won't get alcohol poisoning

Mark and Jeno crossed their arms totally done with their boyfriends saying random dad jokes nonstop. Everyone left the venue except for the four of them because of the secretaries not wanting to leave since they went for round two of drinking alcohol

"wanna hear another joke?" Jaemin poured another glass with the other secretary completely wasted down the table

Jeno sighed heavily stealing the 13th glass Jaemin was about to drink. "Let's go home Jaemin it's getting late"

Jaemin frowned as he huffed  "No I want stay here!" he refused facing on the other side

Jeno groaned guiding him to stand up since he might loose balance "nope we are going home" but seeing the younger wasted the next second he said it. He sighed once again having no choice but to carry him on his back to the parking lot which was a little bit far from the place

"what about Donghyuck?"

"It's okay I'll take care of him" Mark replied. He'll just wait until his secretary will sober up

Jeno nodded and left the place still carrying a drunk male on his back. Let us just how he won't barf on him

Walking pass through the street lights he stopped by to an park, taking a break for minute and carefully placed the drunk male on one of the bench

suddenly Jaemin stood up and walked but his eyes were still close

"Is he sleep walking?" Jeno tilted his head after that his eyes widened realizing his boyfriend ran away "hold the fuck up—"

he quickly ran chasing him like he just unleashed a dog. Imagine just walking at the streets at night then you saw a drunk man getting chased after his boyfriend

after eight minutes of just running Jaemin stopped and stood there confuse "where am I?"  he was in a better state right now but he is still drunk

greeted by Jeno crouching down while panting "stop running—" running out of breath "please"

"so beautiful...." his eyes shined looking up at the night sky seeing billions of stars each shining uniquely

"what?" Jeno looked up only to see Jaemin staring at the stars in admiration. He looked beautiful even if he was doing nothing

"The stars...they're beautiful!" he smiled widely pointing each star "especially that one. It stands out the most" he commented not knowing Jeno was staring at him instead of the stars

"Yeah they sure are" he continues to stare at him with all admiration like Jaemin stares at the stars

the star that stands out them most is right beside him

seeing Jaemin beside him I don't think he can wait another 7 years if the Jaemin ever leaves him behind
