"why are you here?" jeno asked Right when Jaemin fell on the toilet along with a high pitch scream hitting the Ariana grande note. It all happened in seconds "are you ok?" jeno offered his hand to jaemin looking like a prince charming asking his Princess for a dance

he was too embarrassed to accept his help so he stood up and tried to walk way pretending nothing happened

well he tried

Jeno prevented from leaving the area by blocking his arms on the doorway "are you going to continue ignoring me?" Jaemin said softly with his head tilted on the side.

to be honest he was so adorable  doing that , jaemin thought

"I'm not done talking to you" he smirked

it felt like his whole body system stopped working for a moment. He was just staring right straight to jenos eyes

he shrugs his thoughts off "is there something you want to say? if it's about your engagement or any related stuff with our contract I don't want to hear it right now" jaemin finally had the courage to talk back at him.

if you put the two of them in one room it's impossible leaving them without them bickering or fighting. Nothing really changed , just them growing older

Jeno scoffed "Na Jaemin remember you are talking to your CEO " he warned

"okay Mr.lee m go on" Jaemin  said in a not so mocking way "as we didn't know each other since when we were teenagers" he mumbled but jeno was close enough to hear

"this has been bothering me recently and I just want to confirm if it really was for me" he started with a intro

Jaemin rolled his eyes while nodding

"Do you really hate me?" he stared into his eyes waiting for a answer. Jeno didn't say It like he was mad or something but he instead said it in a disappointed kind of way

"what?" it caught him off guard. Even himself doesn't know the answer. He took a step back hesitatingly avoiding his gaze

Jeno smiled like he was about to cry "was it a hard question to ask?" it's a yes or no question

Jaemin clasped his and changing the topic to escape from being embarrassed "uhh I actually have work to do so let's talk about it tomorrow" he walked way with his soul almost leaving his body

sigh , that was a close one. He started to walk on a fast pace he was close from running but suddenly he felt a hand grabbing on his arm causing him to stop on his tracks

Jaemin shake his hand left to right "I don't think running away will help me find the answer of my question" he puckers his lips "yes or no"

"Why did you have to slap him on his face!?" Jisung exclaimed with jaw dropped from how brave his friend is. He could even award him from being the bravest person in the world

"I didn't know what to do I just did what ever my mind said in that moment!" Jaemin huffed. Regretting why he did that and it must have hurt because he I think he slapped him too hard that it was harder than punch , hoping he didn't give his ceo a black eye

jisung stared completely speechless "you could have just ran away instead of slapping him"

Jaemin blinked twice "I slapped him and ran away" he looked back at his friend looking at him concerned for his well being "do you think I'm going to get fired?"

jisung hummed evaluating it for a second "I highly doubt that isn't going to happen because you'll see together because of your contact relationship and it'll be awkward seeing your ex-secretary cross-dressing to pretend as your girlfriend"

gasping out loud "oh right- I totally have forgotten about the contract!" he fraustadly threw his body on the couch "shit what am I going to do now" he sobs

"sucks to be you but I recommend you apologizing to him from the bottom of your heart and the fact you also said you hated him and blamed him for your life being miserable when you're drunk , well I can't blame you for that— anyway moving on it's for the best advice I could give up to you" jisung stated looking like he was reciting a rap

"what do you mean by apologizing from the bottom of my heart?" Jaemin puckered his lips with his brows lifted

"kneeling down and beg him for forgiveness" ji shrugged

"what?" I would never kneel down and beg for forgiveness do you think I'm a peasent? I can just say sorry and it will be solve or maybe not we never know 

"Just say you're sorry! he can't fire you anyway since he needs you the most"

"I don't thin-" he was cut off by a notification coming from his phone thinking it was notification from his social medias but it thought wrong
