A Poem for Lidha

You stole my heart

It's lost forever

How do you expect me to continue

Yet I did

You stole my life

My lover, my child

You expect me to stop living

Yet I did

You stole my unborn

Left an empty womb

Yet I could not lift the dagger

Yet I could not get myself to harm you

Because I love you

Your whispers

Your heartbeat

Your mesmer

How can anyone resist

Your beauty

Your seduction

Your naked skin

You're shadowless

Your skin, pale and blue

The frogs worship you

They sing, they hum, they chant

For the princess of the night

I should shiver

I should listen to caution

But I was too blind

I was too drowned

I was too drunk with your love

The leaves at night spoke

They whispered "shoot at the heart"

It's the only way to get out from the dark forest

It's the only way to make things whole

I know you're cursed

I know you're perversion

I know you too are hurt

You're only looking to feed

You're only looking for love

But you should not steal

For when you steal

I need to get it back

I will need to get my love, my child back

It's the only way I know how to stop my hurting

It's the only way I can stop darkness

I will find you

I will search corners of the night

I will follow your scent

To get my love, my child back

It's the only way I can get my soul back

I will roam the woods

I will search the villages

I will climb the mountains

All that a lost soul will do

For when I see you again

O Lord please stop my heart

O Lord please stop me from feeling

I need to put an arrow into your heart

I need to stop you from hurting

I need to stop me from hurting

I need to stop the darkness

I need to stop your wickedness

It's the only way I can release you from the curse

It's the only way I can stop the madness

It's the only way I can release you from the night

O Lord please make us whole

I long to sit beside you again

To hold your hands

And count the stars in the skyocean

And whisper into your ears

I love you
