Walking down stairs for the last time i signed, my mom and step dad were making me move to Chicago with i guess my Aunt Veronica

When i was younger before my dad left we used to live in Chicago, but when he left they sent me to go live with my mom, i haven't seen my dad since, it wasn't all him my mom and step dad forced him to give me back, only for a couple years they wanna send me to go stay with my aunt

Dressed in a plaid skirt, black knitted sweater, fishnets with knee high boots, "Mom, Rick im leaving!" I yelled, and no reply

I rolled my eyes packing my bags into the car driving to the airport, blah blah blah airplane things

Chicago

When I left the airport getting into a cab they out the address and I arrived, I grimaced getting out and grabbing my bags

The man looked at me questioningly I'm guessing I looked a little to fancy for this.

I walked up to the door knocking when a man giant came to the door with a bat, i looked at him weirdly "Hi, I'm
Aurora, is Veronica here?"  i asked playing with my suitcase

"Uh, no sorry, she left to go somewhere but you can put your bags upstairs in your room and we can go see if she's at the neighbors'" he said as, i smiled thanking him

We walked into i assume my room it had a bed in the middle, a window above it with a desk in the corner by the door, and 2 nightstands on either side of the bed, i quickly put my stuff down sighing from how heavy.

I looked up at him, "okay I'm ready" i smiled at him, he nodded we walked outside and to the neighbors

"Yo, veronica you got my keys" he asked as i shut the door behind him "whos that" i heard someone asked
