"Killing the turtle"

Aurora pov           

I was in my room getting ready, i got dressed into black tight jean skirt, a black sweater, and vans.

I was going to go to the bathroom when i heard Kev saying "mommy" Kev that made me snort going back to my room laughing my ass off, but i knew they were talking about the foster kid they were getting, V says its only for the money but i know she's going to get attached.

I was walking with Ian and Mandy she was telling a story per usual "so i told her she isn't going to use my eyeliner when she was pink eye. And she was like well, then, we aren't going to be friends anymore" Ian wasn't even paying attention.

"Hmm?" he questioned looking at Mandy, "You're not listening to us are you" I teased smiling at him

"No, sorry" he chuckled, "Whats wrong?" Mandy asked looking at him

"I slept with someone. Not Kash"

"What?"

"Yeah"

"Who? We need the details" I asked looking at him, "I cant really say. He's on the down low, you know"

"I'm happy for you, Ian" i smiled as he put his arm around my shoulder

But Ian told us he was seeing someone but wouldn't say who, but i had somewhat of an idea of who

"I'm home" i said walking into the house to see Kev, v and two girls i didn't know " Religious sec? You mean like a cult" i heard Kev say

"A what now?" i said walking in the kitchen, "Say hello to your next foster family Ethel" the worker said slightly pushed Ethel closer

She looked from Kev to v then to me "hello" she said still staring at me

"Well, uh, I'm gonna go to the Gallagher's" i said turning and leaving out the door before they could say anything else.

I went over to Sheila's to grab extra diapers for Liam, lip and Karen walking out holding hands, i felt myself stop breathing, i shook it off ran inside to grab Liam's stuff and went beck home to see Ethel and Kev.

Ever since she's been here they've only paid attention to her, they even let her sleep in my bed while i have the couch, i ran up to my room locking the door and playing music ignoring everyone and everything

Was i being dramatic? Maybe so. Do i care? No.

Lip pov

Me and Karen were walking with the dean of the college i was going to ask Aurora but i didn't want to catch more feelings for her so I'm trying to hang out with Karen and hope my feelings slowly gave away, i would talk to them about my feelings with  Ian but i don't want him to think i'm gonna use her.

Aurora pov

I was in my room when Ethel came into my room to ask if she can clean i politely told her no, she just stood there looking at me, i rolled my eyes "what"

"Well in my house we always did the chores, do you want me to do yours" i got up off of my bed walking over to the door

"I don't have chores now go please" I smiled as she nodded walking away, 'this is gonna be the longest two weeks of my life'.

I laughed with Fiona as her, Liam and i walked into the house only to find Karen and lip on the couch half naked making out, Lip turned around looking at me wide eyed, i ignored him looking at Fiona

"Actually i should get home and make sure ethel isnt going through my stuff again" "Aurora, ro come back" i heard lip say but i kept walking home ignoring the tears that were falling.

I went back home only to find out we were going back over to the Gallagher's for pasta or something like that

We walked inside Kev first and me last "hey hey want you guys to meet our new daughter" Kev smiled excitedly

V rolled her eyes "Foster daughter" Kev groaned at her "Why you gotta do that"

"Let me help you with that" Fiona smiled taking the pan from V

I followed V, Kev and Fiona, ignoring Lip trying to talk to me, "Frankie's home!" Frank called out coming inside with Debbie

"Oh, my God, I am so wired" Debbie laughed jumping on the couch, "Debs, what going on?" Fiona asked looking at her

"We got high on sugar because daddy quit drinking"

"Whose daddy?"

"Me daddy. Me, me, me" Frank said before eating a fun dip, "Oh, shit" Lip sighed

"What?" Fiona questioned turning to him, "He's done this shit before"

"We gotta help daddy stay busy and keep his mind off of drinking... so he can make $3000

"Hey, everybody, come here. Gather around. I got something i wanna say. Um... I know i haven't been the most exemplary father, for the past three or 15 years, but now I'm gonna need your help getting through this, from this point on forward were going to be a family again, what the hell is that" Frank asked looking at Ethel I snorted covering it with a cough.

The next few hours we did anything and everything we could to help Frank not drink.

Everyone was having fun and playing around when frank started playing the piano, "I didnt know Frank played the piano" Kevin said sitting next to V

"Neither did i" Fiona spoke up looking at Frank, "Just walk away, walk out the door. Just turn around now" He began to sing as they all, but Lip and I, began to sing with him

Lip stood up annoyed" i can't believe you guys are buying into his bullshit. Come on ill walk you home Karen, wanna come Aurora".

"What difference does it make? He'll be drinking by tomorrow" Fiona said looking at him, "No. Not when moneys involved. Ro?" he sighed looking at me as i ignored him
