Michael pov

We left my home and went to Will’s mom’s car I believe her name is Joyce she seems nice but that’s how all women are nice when you first meet them and later on, they mean and scary to me that is. But I trust that Will and plus this is his mom and she seemed pretty worried when she couldn’t see him and she seem to not notice me so maybe she’s good but that is a maybe I can’t so sure.
We go to her car and Will helped me into the car and Ms. Byers got into the front behind of the wheel and turns around to face us
“We are stopping off at Mike’s house before going to the store ok”
“Ok mom” and all I did was give a small nod and with that we were off.
I turn to Will
‘So, I get to meet the guy you have a crush on the same day I meet you’
Will laughs a little
“Yeah, I guess you do”
‘Cool I get to see him and all his greatness’
Will gave a small smile and laugh
“I guess do”
I smile at Will and look to the window feeling nervous to actually meet this Mike guy a bunch of thoughts come rushing in.
Like what if he isn’t nice, what if he doesn’t like me, I shake my head and calmed myself down and took a deep breath and closed my eye.

Time skip

We are finally at Mike’s house and Ms. Byers went to get him. I move closer to Will due to being scared of Mike and as if on cue there he was with Ms. Byers walking to the car was Mike whatever his last name is I was only told his first name. But I was scared he looks mean and when he got into the car looked at me the second, he got in and sat down
“Who are you”
‘Michael’
“What?”
Looks like he doesn’t know sign language which is understandable because not a lot of people know it.
“Michael” Will said looking at Mike
“What?”
“His name is Michael”
“Oh”
‘What’s your name?’ even though I know his name already because of Will
Mike looks at Will to tell him what I said
“He asked what your name is”
“Oh, Mike Wheeler I don’t know if you wanted to know my full name but there you go”
‘Nice to meet you Mike’
“He says nice to meet you Mike”
“Nice to meet you to I guess”
And with that he looked out the window not talking. I look at Will haven’t made a face that showed a bit of my disappointment of the Mike
‘So this is the great Mike you told me about’
‘Yeah sorry about him…he isn’t always like this….’
I let out a sigh shaking my head and looked at Mike again who was still looking out the now moving car’s window.
