“Mom, can we please go and visit the orphanage for Jimin? He seems to miss that place a lot, he mentioned to me that he misses one of his friends, and he once wants to visit the orphanage before we leave Korea to the US” Yoongi said to Mrs Min in the kitchen, while Jimin was in his room.
It was 9 o'clock in the morning, just 4 days before moving to the US forever. Jimin was sad, as he has no hopes he will again meet Jungkook. While talking to Yoongi, he just mentioned he misses the orphanage friends, and see? The elder brother is trying his best to make the little one happy.
“Honey, I don't think that's possible. If we go there then he'll be more depressed, because the friend whom he misses is already adopted. I recently called up the lady of the orphanage to ask about Jimin's certain friend whom he misses so much. She said something which really even hurt me. That little boy had an accident after which he lost his memory. He doesn't remember anything now, not even Jimin. So, taking Jimin there will be useless. He is sad I know, but we have to make him feel and understand our love for him and make him feel that we are his family, make him enough happy with us to not be sad for his friend..yeah?” Mrs Min explained as Yoongi nodded understanding
“Alright mom, understood. I'll go and see what he's doing” Yoongi said smiling as he headed towards Jimin's room
_Jimin's Room_
“Hey...Jimin-ssi.. I'm back..” Yoongi entered the room with a sad smile
“So what did mom say? Will she take me to the orphanage? Can I meet Ahjumma? Can I meet my frie-” Jimin kept on asking as Yoongi cut him off
“Slow down- slow down, aishh- shh shh” Yoongi said as Jimin stopped, now looking at him with hopes in his eyes. Yoongi gave him a sad face as he shook his head indicating it's a no from Mrs. Min.
“But- why...Well okay..” Jimin said with a pout as he sat on his bed silently drawing circles on the bed
“Well kid, why don't you tell me more about you? I would like to know what you like what you don't, and also about your friends you had earlier” Yoongi asked as Jimin looked at him with bright eyes
Yoongi is not someone who would talk even this much. He just cares so much about Jimin already, even though adopted he loves his small brother Jimin so much, that he's talking so much happily and without any efforts
“Realllyyy hyungiee?? Okayyy, I'll say you everything! From my favourite dish to my favourite ice cream flavour to my best friend Jungkookie! Uh..The friend I miss so much is Jungkookie.. Alright! I'll say you everything!” Jimin said
“I'm excited! Say me anything and everything you want” Yoongi said as Jimin started his talks. Kind of a podcast for Yoongi you know, an enjoyable podcast.
Jimin really did say about what he likes to eat, what's his favourite ice cream flavour, his favourite colour, how he used to spend time in the orphanage, who is hest best friend, how much he loves Jungkook and misses him, how Jungkook just didn't come for a month to meet him not even once, how he broke the promise..he said it all and ended up crying remembering how he was waiting with hopes but Jungkook never showed up.
“Ahh Jiminshi, it's okay don't cry! Hyungie is here! I..I have an idea!” Yoongi said as Jimin looked at Yoongi
“What idea now? Mom already said no!” Jimin whined
“...well that was what I was thinking of..I was about to ask mom- I just- I just forgot that she refused. I'm.. I'm so sorry. I'm so sorry I'm not able to help you.. I'll buy you your favourite ice cream and tell mom to cook your favourite dish..okay?” Yoongi said but Jimin didn't give a shit on what he said as Yoongi sighed
After a bit of silence, Yoongi got the way to make him happy
“Jimin~” Yoongi sing sang
“What?” Jimin replied in a dull and cracked, due to crying, voice
“You wanted me to teach piano..Shall we start from today?” Yoongi asked as Jimin looked up at him wiping his tears off, still sniffing
“R-really Hyungie, today?” Jimin asked
“Really! Today! Let's go come!” Yoongi said as he got off the bed leaving the room to the music room, followed by Jimin
_The Music Room_
“Sit down here with me, here this is your note book. You know the English alphabets?” Yoongi asked as Jimin nodded “Yess!! Ahjumma taught us Korean and also English Alphabets, Numbers, addition and subtraction hehe” Jimin said
“That's nice!” Yoongi said ruffling Jimin's hair. They sat on the chair and table in that room, where Yoongi will be first explaining some basic theory to Jimin
“We start from the base, and you gotta know some theory first okay? It's easy! If you're confused, ask me” Yoongi said as Jimin nodded.

“You know what these are? These are the 12 notes in music. Any melody or any tune in the wholee world, is made up on these notes only. C, C#, D, etc., these are all notes. We now gotta make scales, of Do Re Mi Fa So La Ti Do, then chords. And after we are finally done with the chords making, I'll teach you how we play the piano. I'll also show you playing the chords as we make it theoretically, but the main practical start will be after some days okay? We'll go slow. So, let's learn about Major chords today” Yoongi continued teaching as Jimin sincerely listened and noted down the important points that Yoongi mentions
“A scale, contains 7 notes and the 8th note is the first note of the next octave. Octave is basically, the space of eight steps between musical notes. Okay? So now, to make a major scale we gotta use a trick! The trick is-
Full step,Full step- Half step! Full step, full step, full step- Half step!
It means, the list of notes that I gave, a full step from C would mean D skipping C#, likewise, a fullstep from D would mean E, and a half step from E would mean F which is immediately after E that means no skipping notes. That's about full step and half step. Can you get my point? Look at the list of notes I just gave you, then you'll understand. Now, if you apply this formula of Full step Half step in this specific way from the C note, then you get the C Major scale. If you apply it from the C# note then you get the C# Major scale, and so on. Now let me sing you the Notes of C Major scale” Yoongi said as he played the notes and sang along while Jimin observed everything properly. He was a good learner though
“Now, you gotta sit and make all the major scales using this formula from every note and show me. After you're done with it only, I'll let you play the scales on piano. Then we'll proceed to minor scale. Okay?” Yoongi said
“Yes, sir!!” Jimin said smiling
“I noted down everything that's important and you told me to. I understood what you explained, and I'll do the home work you gave me! But Hyungiee, I have a request! You have to play the piano for me pweaseee” Jimin requested as Yoongi smiled “Okayy little one! I'll play a beautiful Chinese song”
Yoongi replied as he took out the book of the notes of the song he's gonna play as he started playing. He played the song “Love like coloured glass” from the Drama “Love and Redemption”
