Song Jungkook didn't say anything else to Li Jihyo. He resumed walking towards the bathroom.

Li Jihyo bit her lip. She looked very embarrassed.

Li Jihyo's female cousin approached her and curiously asked, "Is that the CEO of your company? CEO Song? I saw his wife earlier. She looks pretty enough to be a celestial immortal. He's really lucky."

Li Jihyo forced herself to calm down. Twitching her lips, she asked, "Shouldn't you be saying it's his wife that's lucky?"

A man like Song Jungkook was very principled. Even if she didn't get the results she wanted today, she still believed that he was the object of desire for many young women.

The cousin looked at Li Jihyo in askance. "What are you saying? Of course, it's CEO Song that's the luckier one. His wife is so beautiful, and he gets to look at her as much as he wants when he gets home from work every day. A woman as beautiful as his wife, it's already incredible that she would be willing to marry him."

Li Jihyo didn't say anything. Her heart sank.

She had eyes. Of course, she knew how beautiful Ruan Lisa was. But, her woman's intuition told her that this couple didn't have a good relationship. It wasn't her wishful thinking.

However, Li Jihyo also knew that Song Jungkook wasn't interested in her.

Although her brother was close friends with Song Jungkook, the real reason that she was able to intern at Song Jungkook's company was that she had pulled a little trick on the day of her interview. She misled the people in HR and the Finance Department into thinking that she had a close relationship with Song Jungkook. She had originally thought she would get closer to Song Tingshen once she was working at his company, but for some unknown reason, Song Jungkook treated her the same as any other employee.

He wouldn't say any extra words to her. There were even times when she thought she was already being obvious enough about her intentions, but he remained aloof and resolute in keeping the distance between them.

There were times when Li Jihyo thought that he might have seen through her, but he was letting her stay in the company because she was Li Taehyung's sister. After all, he had to take into consideration his close friend's feelings and give him a face.

"Jihyo, are you taking aunty's recent words seriously?" The cousin paused. "Even though I don't like going on blind dates either and you're still young, your friend's circle really is a bit too small. Just treat the blind date as making a new friend. That's not bad, right? What do you think?"

Li Jihyo shook her head. "I'm not interested in that right now."

The cousin thoughtfully looked in the direction that Song Jungkook had gone and meaningfully said, "I get it. Whether it's your brother Taehyung or that CEO Song, they're both very outstanding people. You frequently come into contact with them, so it's inevitable that your standards will become higher. But, listen to my advice. A successful man like CEO Song, who has a wife and son, even if he doesn't truly love his wife, won't divorce her. Men are more shrewd than women about this. Plus, a single glance is enough to tell that CEO Song is someone that cares about his family..."

Sometimes, if you spoke too straightforwardly and made things too clear, it would hurt the other person's dignity.

Li Jihyo somewhat wretchedly smiled. Were there a lot of people that saw through her intentions? She wasn't stupid. She was aware of many things. For example, she knew that Song Jungkook didn't like her. She also knew that no matter how bad Song Jungkook and Ruan Lisa's relationship was, they would never divorce. If they were going to divorce, they would have already done so. They wouldn't have waited until now.
