"There's no need to be polite. It's no trouble at all," replied Song Jungkook. After a pause, he said, "There's something I want to discuss with you".

Ruan Lisa felt relieved upon hearing those words. She felt that he had been acting strangely all day, starting from when she had picked him up. On the drive home from her parents, Song Jungkook and Little Woo kept praising her beauty and just now he had even brought her a cup of warm milk of his own volition. If he didn't say what he wanted, she would stay up all night trying to guess his thoughts.

After all, he was entirely acting out of character. If another man had treated her this way, it would be obvious that he was courting her. However, Song Jungkook would never do something like that. And so, when she was confronted with this behavior, Ruan Lisa's initial reaction was to suspect an ulterior motive. "I wonder what he wants from me?", she thought.

"What is it? I'll help in whatever way I can", said Ruan Lisa emphatically.

"Have you made plans for National Day?" Song Jungkook asked.

Ruan Lisa shook her head and replied, "I don't have plans."

When she heard his question, she thought that Song Jungkook must have made plans for the holiday, so he was going to ask her to take care of Little Wang. It wasn't a big deal to her, after all, she was Little Woo's primary caretaker. In the past, the original owner had spent the holiday traveling abroad with her "plastic" friends and enjoying themselves.

Song Jungkook explained, "That's good. I want to bring Little Woo back to my hometown. In these past years, we haven't been able to go back due to Little Woo's age and my schedule, so he's never paid his respects to my parents. I had planned to renovate my parents' grave this year, so it will be a good opportunity to bring Little Woo along."

Ruan Lisa was surprised at the unexpected good news. While Little Woo is very cute and she is happy to take care of him, she was even more excited about having some alone time. Of course, she would say yes and let Song Jungkook bring Little Woo to his hometown for a few days. Finally, she would have some time to relax. She started making plans in her mind, "Should I travel somewhere? But, there will be a lot of travelers over the holiday ..."

Before she could reply to Song Jungkook, he continued, "That's why I asked if you'd be free. If you don't have plans, how about we go together? Little Woo wouldn't want to be separated from you, so if you don't go, he'll complain and want to come back home."

"I'm going too?" replied Ruan Lisa blankly. Ruan Lisa couldn't believe what she had heard.

Song Jungkook made a sound of agreement and looked intently at her. After a few seconds, he said, "If you have plans, then don't worry about it."

Ruan Lisa had already said she hadn't made plans, so she couldn't make an excuse now. According to the memories of the original owner, not only had Little Woo never been to Song Jungkook's hometown, but she also had never visited.

All things considered, Song Jungkook's request wasn't unreasonable. He hadn't been back in several years. It's normal for him to want to go home and take care of his parent's grave. It's normal for him to want to bring his son to pay respect to his parents. And it's normal for his wife (at least in name), to burn some incense for his parents. Furthermore, Song Jungkook had already asked her, and she had no good excuses.

At this point, Ruan Lisa could only agree, so she said "Okay. Since the time we married, I've never burnt any incense for your parents. This time, I should go with you."

Song Jungkook felt relief when he heard her answer without hesitation. He had discovered that Ruan Lisa is actually a good person. How had he never noticed these past years? It wasn't too late to see that now, was it?
