—Rowan's pov—
"RAY-BABY I'M HOME!!!"I shouted just walking through the door. I knew he missed me I could feel it through our bond even though it was not complete
I proceeded to the living room and sat on the couch waiting. For my lovely mate with his short but thick legs, this will take a while
snickering at the thought
I gasped as I felt him leap on my lap with his hands on my chest.
He blushes "Row?"I nod moving my hands to his small tiny waist that I couldn't get enough of "yes?" he grips my shirt "I missed you "he said looking down and playing with my shirt cutely I gently grab his chin stopping him from what he was doing and kiss him deeply, he kisses me back closing his eyes slowly I close my eyes and then move so he's led on the couch and I'm hovering over him
I don't break the kiss as he slowly wraps an arm around my neck tangling his hands in my hair my hands travel to his body while still not breaking the kiss.
After not receiving oxygen for the past few minutes we decided to stop .believe it or not I wasn't thinking about going further I was just thinking about how lucky I was to have him.
"That was mind-blowing I'm suddenly not afraid of dying if it's by your lips, "I said staring at his swollen red lips
"Shutup don't say that, "he said hitting my chest and blushing.
We remained in the same position basking in the presence of each other
"I love you "he randomly blurted out making my heart skip a beat I will never get used to it, what are you doing to me?
"I love you too and will never stop "I responded putting our foreheads together

"Bye baby I'm going to hang out with my friends, "he said stuffing cake into his mouth and walking out the door 'sigh' who knew he had such a sweet tooth? I shook my head watching him continuously stuff his mouth until his cheeks were full 'I love my little chipmunk but I'm going to hide the sweets we don't need an energetic kitten in the house we would never be able to have some shut-eye .he already has energy enough as it is.
As soon as he left I ran straight upstairs bursting into dads room who was watching tv taking advantage of his day off as he should as he rarely gets any
"Boy don't be bursting into my room like that what's wrong with you "dad scolded pausing some show I couldn't make out right now because of my desperation
"I'm sorry dad but code red, "I said watching dads eyes go wide as he finally understood
Code red was our secret code for our baby chick just in case something happened and we don't want him to know because he likes to break things when he eats sweets so we made a drill just for 'HIM' isn't that nice?
"Lord what did that adorable goofball do now, "dad said eyes going back to normal as he understood it wasn't dangerous to code red even though it was in a way we are in danger for our things that will soon be gone if we don't do something about it
"He's been eating a lot of cake 'hell he just stuffed his cheeks full of mini cakes leaving the house a few minutes ago "no pun intended
"Ok we will just have to limit his privilege of sweets we spoil him, yes, but one thing we will not be doing is letting him eat anything he wants .he needs to learn that cake is not a meal it's a snack after a meal "
dad said rising and probably going to bring the snacks to his and pops room they used to do that with us if we were eating too many snacks .papa or dad would bring the snacks to their room and not let us get any until they have them, so I can imagine how my baby will feel when he does it.
Right then baby came back with a plate of junk food, he had been there all this time without us detecting I wonder if he heard anything
"Hi daddy hi ro," he said picking up a sugar cookie and slowly eating it like he didn't have other cookies on his plate "I glanced at dad giving him "you see what I mean look" gaining a nod in return
"Hay kitten why are you back so early you normally stay at the donut shack with your friend for at least 3 hours talking each other head off, "father said with an eye roll
"Daddy you over exaggerating we don't talk each other's heads off, "my kitten said pouting
"Whatever you say kitten but we wanted to talk to you about your sugar addiction it's getting out of hand baby so from now on I'm going to be holding the mini cakes in my room to monitor them since you don't know how to eat a proper meal without sweets "
Dad said sternly making his way to the pantry and taking the box of cakes and heading towards his room with raylen hot on his heels. looking down with a guilt written face
"Awwww don't cry baby Come here, "dad said holding his arms out for raylen who was walking over slowly sniffing Raylen let dad hold him. as he continued to cry
"I'm sorry baby but it had to be done I just want you to be healthy you have to learn you can't eat sweets all day it's bad for you, "he said trying to make him understand
He leaned his face on dad's chest and looked up and gave him the biggest puppy eyes begging for forgiveness thinking he was in trouble
"I'm sorry daddy I'll start eating meals more please don't be mad, "raylen said snuggling more into his chest and looking like a cute frightened kitten
"Oh kitten you not in trouble I just want you to be healthy ok and I would never be mad at you my beautiful son "dad said pecking raylen on the lips and making raylen giggle
I'm glad my dad was the one to explain to him because I would have given in the moment he started crying.
I couldn't with his adorableness im glad he was the one to scold him because the cute gestures he's doing would have made me let him get away with anything and that's not acceptable
"Ok, daddy but I can still have the mini cakes right "little said bringing his lips into a pouty outline and breathing gently into the man's neck and lips "
"Of course, I know how much you love those you just can't have more than 5 I will not allow it, "papa said kissing his pout away
I honestly love how my dad interacts with him it's adorable I mean how can you be jealous of that?
The day went better than anticipated now let's see how it goes with the snacks.
